Exactly..... And like Trump's as well. Except BO didnt have 5 deferments. I will have to read VETS TODAY for updates on how the dodger is helping us.
Obama, Trump... I will agree to the statement that these two are two of the most flawed (each in their own way) individuals we have had for POTUS.

Strange, two sinners.

Guess I'll have to pray for Trump too.

Fighting with Congress re handover of tapes, threatening witnesses, etc. You're right, nothing like it, LOL.
Even if true there was a precedent : IRS terrorism ordered by the previous administration for those who didn't tow the liberal mark. Death in Benghazi, Fast and Furious, American classified information on a server in a bathroom ... I could go on, and on, and...

Oh dear, then you haven't been paying attention, have you: the implication of both the existence of the tapes and the threat come from the mouth - or twitter account - of The Orange One himself.

Actually you are speaking of things you know nothing of. Apparently you have little to no knowledge of the Nixon events. This is indicated by this lat post. There are no tapes (who in the world tapes things anymore) even if there were ( and there is not) it still wouldn't reflect anything that went on with Nixon. If you are going to talk about American History from across the pond be sure you know what you are talking about.

I lived through the Nixon years though at the beginning of his presidency I was a Democrat.

But even then at the height of the Watergate fiasco there was not a declared war against him.

There is a war against Trump by the ESTABLISHMENT from both sides of the aisle including also the liberal progressive marxist press.

The true perpetrators of espionage and treason are those involved with this subterfuge of leaks including the RINOs and the NeoCons. They are the cause of the unrest and turmoil. Some are more subtle with their attacks on Trump than others.

They deserve to go to prison. They are the 21 century Benedict Arnolds.

It wouldn't surprise me if 1 or 2 of them are part of his close staff.

FOX News is also turning against him. Expect Hannity to be sent packing one of these days.

He (The Donald) will survive (Grateful Dead).

The parallels seem to grow, though. And whether one is on one side of the pond of the either does not necessarily diminish one's understanding of events. I can't speak with certainty, but I have a feeling I may have a better grasp of the English Civil War than some Brits. At least it's possible.

And if there's a war, it was one that Trump started — and the media (especially electronic) — abetted. Trump made it clear he was running against the media, which was too stupid (until too late) to understand what was going on. Trump declared war, not the media. Now he doesn't like the fight he picked. He told Comey it would be good to slap a couple of reporters in prison. I'm not sure he was being hyperbolic.

Grow, I said, not approach. One doesn't have to have been alive in the '70s to know what happened, BTW.

Wrong again. With all their fake stories and their coordinated attacks on Trump, he was fuuly entitled to announce that he was at war with the MSM. They started the war --not him.

What utter nonsense. Have you even been alive the past year? Your brain, anyway?

You haven't a clue if you think there is a parallel with what is happening now and WaterGate.

Give it a chance. Trump's new at this, although he seems to have got off to quick start.
