Thanx for your honest opinion, Neo...But what about most other BVs saying "him" or "us" in V7, and what about the marginal note the AV translators wrote for that verse, which you may see in the very first post of this thread, showing they believed the LITERAL translation of the Hebrew is "him"?

I notice not one of the kjvOnlies has given us a grammar lesson as to why in Ps 12:6-7, it refers to the Word of God instead of to the Godly man. They've used dodges, and bait and switch. Onlies, the ball is in your court. It has been for quite some time and you've not hit it back over the net yet. Quit dragging the thread off course by posting verses and diatribes that truly have nothing to do with the subject at hand and show us why it refers to the Word of God instead of the godly people. MV users can post the same verses...the doctrine is the same. This has been shown many times. Can you do it, or are you just being "clouds without rain" as usual?

Are you for real!!!! This is coming from the man that says there is no 100% perfect and without error bible on the entire Earth!!! The only place that you believe there is one is in your imagination!! Come on Cranston, where oh where is the perfect word of God!!

Prov 6: 16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue , and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations , feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

I have done nothing but defend God's word. All you do is cast doubt. :(

Now now since you are "cough" defending God's word then you you please tell me which KJV is perfect and why?

Did the AV1611 translators lie when they put "HIM" in the marginal notes?

    robycop3,

"because the context of the first verses was about more than one person; there was more than just one poor person in Israel."

Yes, the first verse introduces us to the faithful multitude that "fail from among the children of men."

The second verse tells us that these same "failed faithful" speak vanity with flattering lips and a double heart.

The third verse tells of the Lord's judgement against these same men.

Verse 4 we find the Lord expanding upon the sins of the same proud double hearted "faithful." These wretched fools wag their tounge and claim that their lips are their own (can't even control the number of hairs on the head) and even don't believe in the Lord. (Rebellion is as the sin of withchcraft 1 Sam 15:23, and suffer not a witch to live Exodus 22:18.)

It is also interesting to me that 1 Samuel 15:23 also continues on:
"stubbornness is as iniquity and idolitry."

Verse 5 tells us that the Lord will defend the poor and needy. But how will he defend them?
Basic salvation. That is the only way that the poor and needy can really be safe from "him that puffeth at him." Satan has no power to oppress when we are saved by Christ.

Verse 6 KJV contrasts the words of the double tounged flatterer who speaks proud things and believes that they through their deceit can overcome the Lord Jesus with real words from the Lord that can offer life.

The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Take notice 2 Timothy 3 starts out by speaking about seducers and liars, much like Psalm 12. It ends with a reminder that all scripture is given by inspiration, for correction, reproof and instruction in righteousness....
What benefit does the scripture have? That the man of God may be throughly finished unto all good works.

In Revelation 3, we find the church at Laodicea is neither hot or cold. Obviously they are not finished unto all good works. But why not?

I think the answer is their scriptures and their teachers.

:( And again I ask, where is your perfect word????????????? Why do you all refuse to answer??????? [IMG] You guys are sraining on typos(GNATS) and swallowing Roman Catholic Versions that take entire verses out without batting an eyelash(CAMELS)

Mt 23:24 Ye blind guides , which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

Editions, NOT REVISIONS!!!!TYPOS MAN. They didn't have spelling rules when the KJB was written, but you don't care, do you??? You WILL give account for every idle word.

Ac 7:54 ¶ When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

Do you really think by being willfuly ignorant you will escape the judgement of God.

1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

    [IMG] Amen, Providential!!!! :D

ITim2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Joh 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Ga 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

[IMG] Which rule, no posts with actual bible verses, I have noticed an abundance of posts with NO BIBLE. This is a Christian board, no??? [IMG] Looking at your profile I noticed your not a member of any Baptist church(which I could care less)and that is against the rules. Lighten up. God loves you and so do I. That's why I admonish folks like God commands me to. If I say anything heretical, please, by all means let me know.
    In Christ,

Your favorite phrase is "the KJV perfection."

If the KJV is not perfect, it is still most accurate translation because of the KJV superiority. You know why? Because God is superior to give us His perfect Words in the Bible, namely the KJV for our mother tongue.

Evidence Askjo? Hummm? What about some scripture to back that up with brother.

Anyway let us deal with the subject of this thread.

12 pages and all we have gotten is smokescreens, off topic post, and ignoring what the AV1611 translators wrote in the marginal notes that accurately reflected earlier English bibles.

In the light of evidence the KJVO myth still goes on ignoring the facts in order to defend a lie.

As Bob Ross says, "will wonders never cease?"
