I have no "opinion" as to why God did it. It is sufficient for me to simply know that He did it.Originally posted by Jailminister:
Just what is you "opinion"?

It's amazing to me that a someone who calls himself a Christian in the 21st Century still holds to such a racist idea.Originally posted by showard93:

Well, I think your prejudice is showing. Please quote his racist comment, perhaps I missed it.Originally posted by go2church:
Jail,
Your underlying racism is no longer underlying!

Are you just going to keep using this as a tease or are you going to give your "opinion" about why you believe God did this?Originally posted by Jailminister:
I do believe God create the different races for a reason.
Lighten up, I was giving my opinion.Originally posted by timothy 1769:

The question:Please quote his racist comment, perhaps I missed it.
Is a loaded question, and Jail knows it! As has been pointed out by Helen God didn't create seperate racesWhy did God create the separate races? Was He confused or did He make a mistake?
If you take Genesis literally, then one must accept the idea that Adam and Eve were the first male and female. The origins of the "other people" and the wives of teir children is unimportant to the message of the story. If it were important, then the author would have been inspired to write it down. There's nothing in Gen to imply that the different people were different races. It becomes less important when we take into consideration that all people would be related to the handful of people who survived the flood of Noah.Originally posted by Jailminister:
Her answer assumes that the only humans alive at the time of Adam and Eve's were Adam and Eve. If that is true then where did the wives come from?
I am shocked to hear you espousing liberal views, Jailminister.Originally posted by Jailminister:
Well Helen's answer is not entirely correct. Her answer assumes that the only humans alive at the time of Adam and Eve's were Adam and Eve.
