It's Not Fortune Telling...
It wouldn't have been the Lord. The Lord generally doesn't engage people in fortune telling.
Only ignorance of the Gospel message would result in that kind of mocking. Paul, in his letter to the Church in Ephesus [Ephesians 4:11] remind us that,"His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be
apostles (special messengers), some
prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some
evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some
pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers." ALSO See: Ephesians 4:10-12 (in Context) Ephesians 4 (Whole Chapter).
I know that I was called to preach in a different way, brother, and that way was to share a message that is "inspired to expound on the Word of God, and at times that is to dream dreams and see visions as spoke of in Joel 2:28, and Acts 2:16-18." That calling and office has been confirmed by brothers of the Gospel over the last 25 years.
It is not up to you to mock, make fun of, or, even judge. I know the gift I've been given,
is of God, and though I questioned it for quite a few years, once I came to understand and except it, my ministry took hold, grew roots, and blessed thousands of people over the last 25 years.
I rebuke your humorous attacks on a God given gift to my chosen call and ministry. I advise you to knock it off, lest you be judged as a heretic {one who dissents from an accepted belief or doctrine}. Believe me, this word applies to those of you who have made light [mocking] of my comments. And, it is fact that you fit the description of the definition in that you are not willing to except what the Word teaches about the numerous offices of ministry He places upon His children. It is sin, and Scripturally impossible to limit the Lord; put God in a box; and deny His messengers.
To do so will bring down judgment on you and your house!
This will be all I have to say in regards to this subject. However, as the Word instructs me to do, I shall pray for you, because I recognize that your growth in the Spirit, and the Kingdom of God on earth, has been somewhat retarded by your own small minds and religious skepticism of what God can do when we open our minds, heart and soul to ALL He has equipped the saints with, in order to get the job done here on earth.
Remember this: In Acts 2:17 we are told that "In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams." And yes,
C4K, maybe God did give you a vision last week. So, instead of mocking it, you should try Praising and thanking God for trusting you with such a valuable word of knowledge!
All of you who have made light mocking of my comments about a vision and word of Brown winning this election, should not forget Paul's warning to the Church in Galatia (Galatians 6:7) "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.":wavey:
Shalom
