No you don't. Nothing gnostic about my understanding of God's Word. You're just looking to throw anything at the wall.
No distortion of scripture either. I read the entire Bible and interpret from the whole. I don't look for a sentence that can fit a ideology.

It's not my determinism. It's God's predestination. I used to follow your man-centered free will theology. I know exactly what you are pushing because I lived in your error for nearly 30 years. I also couldn't see my error for many years as I hadn't fully read all of God's Word. There's hope for you, Silverhair. You don't have to live in error for your entire life.

Austin you left the bible and fell into a man-made philosophy and think you have found the truth. You need to heed the words of Christ for the church at Ephesus
Rev 2:4 'But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.
Rev 2:5 'Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place—unless you repent.

You have allowed your pride of self to blind you to the truths of scripture. Your own words condemn you, but that is the hill you seem willing to die on. So be it.

I don't doubt you think this, but your own posts show this isn't true. I am not the one pimping man as the cause agent of salvation and God as the effected party. That is you who teaches man moving God.

The Bible shows us the full Sovereignty of God as the cause of our salvation who effects us to faith and belief. I give God all praise and honor due His name.

That, by the way, is the first love of the church at Ephesus.

    Hi JonC,

I always seem to like your posts. I think it’s because you have a really good attitude. Lol Anyway, I agree with you but I wanted to share something with you. A couple of years ago I watched probably a couple hundred videos by both the Baptist and Calvinist James White and the Traditionalist Baptist Leighton Flowers. I really like Leighton Flowers. I felt like I knew these guys! Lol They fought it out on predestination and probably still are. About that same time, a Lutheran named Jordan Cooper did a video and said Leighton was semi-Pelagian and explained why. Of course, Leighton then did a rebuttal. I know Leighton wasn’t semi-Pelagian but I noticed that he never mentioned grace when talking about someone’s conversion prior to walking the aisle or accepting Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. I noticed it before Jordan came out with his video. I even emailed Leighton a couple of times. So, in that sense, I agreed with Jordan Cooper. I think what may be missing is the theology behind their belief that grace is present before conversion or, at least, mentioning it. In Leighton’s defense, he said at the time on his rebuttal that there was an explanation on his website of this and said that Jordan should have looked there first before criticizing him. When someone does long teaching videos on their position, they need to say that grace is present prior to conversion every once in a while. Have a good one JonC! May God bless!
