What's appropriate for you (or any one person) to be led into worship isn't the standard, and every one else is wrong.

Yes, in my church there are some things that I believe would be appropriate, and some that wouldn't (rap and disco, for example). But, just because I wouldn't use some other style of music that others may use for worship doesn't mean they are wrong or evil.

My opinion isn't the standard for all Believers. Neither is yours, BGFT's, or anyone else's.

I'll go a bit further. If a person doesn't have the basic knowledge of music to understand that all music has a beat, they have no business talking about music in any way.

Actually they need to go back to first grade music class... and learn how to read music...
Someone like that will have no idea with 4/4 means at the front of the song... They will probably think that 3/4 is more holier because 3 refers to the trinity!!!
These last 2 pages are ridiculous, and just show the ignorance that some people have!!!
I listened to CCM in the early 80s long before Warren was doing anything popular!

I just love how people that hold to pagan ideas call Christians that listen to CCM unholy...

There is no such thing. Just because someone comes up with some weird new title for what they don't like doesn't mean it exists.

I promote honest expressions of worship, to whatever style of music (or no music at all) someone wants. For one person to say that someone else's worship is "of the devil" or "evil" is absolutely wrong.

The heathen require a beat to ‘worship’. The church is meant to be a place for edification of the saints, not entertainment of the heathen. A wise pastor will not conform to providing for the fleshly needs of those who are not meant to be there. Having removed one of the means of drawing the heathen into the sanctuary, the wise pastor will then have one less problem in bringing forth the message God intended he should bring to the saints. Unfortunately most churches are now run as businesses and filled with heathen customers who must be given what they want.
