to a nation that for almost forty years has sanctioned and financed infanticide?

About 50 million children legally executed since 1973. Is that kind of nation worthy of a Christian's allegiance and devotion?
Is that any different than pledging allegiance to my wife who has murdered in her heart?

If there were no abortions in the US would you have still have a problem with pledging allegiance?

I agree with your implication. I know that in the UK, abortion (dreadful as it is) is definitely not the only area where the legislation runs clean contrary to the bible's teaching.
