Obedience is to keep his commandments.
Obedience to keep
HIS commandments. Have you done that. If you haven't you have condemned yourself. One of his commandments is recorded in Luke 18:1
"And he spake a parable unto them to this end
that men ought ALWAYS to pray and not to faint."
--Are you always in prayer? If not you have condemned yourself. That is one of HIS commandments.
Here is another one of HIS commandments.
John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Do you love your Christian brothers
even as Christ loved you? Do you really do that? Can I ask those that are close to you for evidence if you love those whom you come in contact with just as much as Christ loved you? If not, you have condemned yourself.
There is two diffrent sins
This is only according to you; not accordint to the Bible.
Ones that are unto death and ones that an't. (Spiritauly)
What is a sin unto death. You are confused. First, all sins are "spiritual" as all sins are against God. All sins have a consequence, some greater than others. The death that is spoken of here is a physical death. Examples:
--Annanias and Sapphiral lied, and God killed them.
--The Corinthians abused the Lord's Table, and 1Cor. 11:30 says that as a result some were weak, some were sickly, and some were dead. That was a sin unto death.
--God determines what a sin unto death is. It can be any sin, even a lie as Annanias and Sapphira found out. Sometimes God, out of his mercy will take a believer out of this world before he continues on in his sin, and will have to give even a greater account of himself before the judgement seat of Christ. Thus in that respect it is an act of mercy. In another respect it is judgement. When a believer drags the name of Christ through the mud and slanders Christianity as such, God may take him out of the world as a form of judgement. We cannot say. It is God that says. We do not know the mind of God.
Are you God? Do you play the role of God? Who gets to determine what is a sin unto death and what is not. You?? I hope not!! Only God can do that! So why do you presume to put yourself in the place of God?
Such that are born again cannot sin spiritauly.
Every sin that you commit is a spiritual sin; for it is against God. The only person that was perfect was Christ. That was the reason that he could die for our sins--was that He was perfect. He was the just dying for the unjust.
He demonstrated his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
Are you perfect?
That is the reason for this verse1jo 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth (IN HIM): and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. He cannot commit sin spiritauly because his seed remaneth in him. That seed is Jesus Christ.
You have added to the Word of God. "spiritually" Why did you put that in there?
You misunderstansd the verse.
The phrase "does not commit sin" is in the present continuous tense, meaning "does not continue to commit sin," or coninue in a sinful lifestyle.
1 John 3:9 Whoever has been begotten of God
does not practise sin, because his seed abides in him, and he cannot sin, because he has been begotten of God. (Darby)
1jo 3:3 And every man that hath this hope (IN HIM) purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
WOW!! Haven't you read the context? Talking about taking Scripture out of context. The hope referred to here is the hope of the second coming of Christ. Every man that hath THIS HOPE--the hope of the second coming, keeps himself pure. Read the context. It says nothing about drunkenness.
Is getting drunk pure.Is commiting adultery pure. Is lieing pure. and all other thing contrey to Gods will pure. Go look on my post at the first page . The bible explain that there are two diffrent sins. One that is unto death and one that an't. I give you the word of God.
No you did not. You gave me Scripture out of context. I can do the same thing.
The Bible says, "There is no God." It really does. You can find that statement in Psalms 14:1 "There is no God."
--This is the game/logic that you are using.
2ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and (doctrine).
2ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Again, more Scripture out of context.
All of the above Scripture was Paul's commission to Timothy as Paul was about to be martyred, and was giving Timothy his commission as he was going into the service of the Lord. These were his last instructions to him.
What has that got to do with what you are trying to prove? Nothing!
There is one kind of sin--a transgression of God's will.
There is one thing that will keep a person from heaven, and that will send a person to Hell, and that is the rejection of Jesus Christ as Saviour. If you disagree with that statement, then you believe that salvation is by works and not by grace through faith.
