It clearly call it gene therapy.
Yep, gone after it does its damage.

The mRNA is a carrier and the purpose is to cause the body to create antibodies. And yes, the mRNA is very fragile and short lasting.

The propaganda you are reading is clouding your understanding of the article you just read. Read it again.

Again, I support people's right to make their own decisions about their own health - but I also think we should be dealing with facts and reality instead of propaganda.

The article you reference specifically rejects the foolish idea the vacvine is gene therapy (that should have been the first hint you had misunderstood the content).

If the US had been more consistent and aggressive early on with adopting the recommended public health policies and taking the pandemic seriously, shutting down disinformation networks, it could have had significantly less deaths, earlier opening up and recovery of economies and true freedom from covid like that enjoyed by countries like Australia and New Zealand for 6-9 months now.
That post sounds like it’s from a conspiracy theorist. However, it is not entirely wrong, just impractical in a free society.

We would have had to completely silence the Dem Progressive Left and their MSM to achieve it. They were idiotically shouting “Racism!” and “Hug a Chinese!” when this all first began. Or have you forgotten already?

The Dem Progressive Left and their MSM are the biggest disinformation network by far, yet want to silence everyone else. Theirs is a vile agenda and far too successful.

Doctors did not know how to treat covid early on because that requires research and data for any new disease. But if you are so trusting of doctors now for some reason (when it suits your narrative) then a vast overwhelming majority doctors would have advised distancing, lockdowns, masks at certain times and following the CDC recommendations which were based on the best available evidence at that time, something that is constantly evolving in a new pandemic.

I’ll have to stop you right there. You can spout whatever other garbage you want but in our country we do not shut down “ disinformation networks”. In fact true Americans do not refer to other people views as such.

Such phrases are propaganda to shut down debate. It’s unamerican and it’s ungodly. In America we believe in free speech even when we disagree with it. Even when we see it as dangerous. It is a foundational principle of the US.

You don’t like it? We don’t give a flip go somewhere else.

I'm sure mRNA could be a breakthrough in several areas, to include gene therapy (I hope so, anyway). It will probably be a better system.

BUT that is NOT what you said. You claimed the COVID vaccine IS gene therapy, which is a false statement.

Look, there are great reasons to take the vaccine and great reasons not to take the vaccine.

Fear is the real killer. Fear manifests itself in conspiracy theories, pseudoscience, and propaganda (like the foolish idea these vaccines are gene therapy).

The vacvine has positive impacts (like creating antibodies that have the potential to combat COVID 19 and its immediate varients). BUT vacvines (all vacvines) carry with them a potential for adverse effects, even death.

Yes, in this country we purposefully share misinformation and conspiracy theories to create confusion and self defeating policy. And that’s how we like it!

I do not think you understand what gene therapy is.

Gene therapy is the transplantation of normal genes into cells in place of missing or defective ones in order to correct genetic disorders.

The COVID vacvine, per your article, is not gene therapy as these vaccines do not affect or interact with our DNA in any way.

As the article notes "After doing their work.". Kind of like fire. Throw a match on some old curtains in a house. House burns down. After the fire "did it's work," it's gone. Gone pretty quickly too".
