Don't know how many. Enough to pull one of the vaccines for a few weeks.
None have resulted from the 2 mRNA vacvines in the US. Several have been linked to vaccines in other countries and there was a question about the J&J vaccine (which was pulled to investigate).

Next question - how many blood clots have been related to COVID-19?

Even with the vaccines that have a chance of causing blood clots, COVID-19 has 10% higher chance of causing clots.

And there have been strokes in young people because of COVID.

I believe the evidence still points to Wuhan China.
Well, I guess we'll just have to disagree here. I believe the evidence points to a key province in Communist China where there just happens to be a laboratory that creates just such viruses for "study" funded by Fauci et al. Oh, wait. That's Wuhan. Never mind. :Wink

Yep his constant misinformation is astounding

When I accuse others of misinformation I show how with evidence, often from the very sources they are using to spread that misinformation.

The evidence you provide for your slander is … “crickets”

It is not me or anyone on this planet that will ultimately judge you.

This is the goal of the smear campaign on Fauci who has been above reproach in his handling of Covid19.

It is to sow distrust against scientists, doctors and medical people amongst those in the grips of the disinformation networks who may be starting to realize they have been lied to for so long so those controlling the disinformation can maintain their monopoly of information control on their sheep. The effectiveness of the vaccine is a threat to their control.

Fortunately, Fauci has always been true to the scientific evidence rather than politics and it is easy to show that the baseless political attacks against him are just that.
Above reproach? Oh brother, what planet do you live on?

Died of Covid or died with Covid? That's not meant to be heartless but there is a difference. Most deaths involving covid have more than one comorbidity. Not healthy individuals.

If that were the case, you would expect with a lower than usual flu season that the number of deaths by all causes in the US would be lower than average.

Excess Deaths Associated with COVID-19

Instead you have 580,000 deaths more than expected since January 2020. It just so happened that all of these extra deaths by heart attacks and strokes were just a coincidence and not due to covid? That is like a city the size of Baltimore being wiped out and saying there is nothing to see, no biggie.

If the hoard of keyboard warrior disinformation agents spending days pouring over Fauci’s emails and quotes hoping to find some smoking gun or inconsistency only to find these lame non-issues that are easily poked apart by a toothpick, the guy is above reproach.

Understand what your mean (it is nit heartless but a valid question).

I know several who have died of COVID. And I know a few older people from my church who died...I guess still of COVID, but had preexisting conditions that made it difficult for them to recover (they most likely would not have recovered from the flu, had that been the issue).

But you do raise a good question for many cases.

If Mr. M has cancer and is on chemo with a weakened immune system and gets COVID or the flu, should the cause of death be COVID or the flu? I suppose it has to be, as that person would not have died otherwise, but at the sane time they had a compromised immune system.

That said, I know several who died of COVID. They were not elderly and had no other health issues. I guess they just got a bad case of COVID, or for whatever reason just could not recover.

My brother was down for a week with a high fever. Two friends were down for a week, just no energy. A couple of friends just had mild symptoms. And several died. Apparently....like with any other virus, people react differently.

HOW does Covid 19 kill one? What is the difference between C19 and a Sars cold? In history how many have caught a cold which developed into pneumonia for what ever reason ie weak immune system or whatever and they died?

How does the lab super charged sars kill one? What did they die of?

The death rate for SARS-CoV-2 in 2003 was 15% for those 40 to 64 years old.

Some die of respiratory issues, others (as the virus also attacks the lining of the heart) suffer different from oxygen deprivation. Blood clots during to COVID 19 can cause both strokes and death.

Most I know died of respiratory distress. I know on young man (20's) suffering post COVID heat issues and a woman (in her 20's) who had a post COVID stroke.

To "dumb it down", COVID-19 is not SARS-CoV-2, and neither are the common cold (which are mild symptoms caused by several types of viruses....mostly rhinoviruses but also by cronaviruses).

We can break things down to silly levels. If COVID causes heart damage and that person dies of that heart damage it is still a COVID death.

If Mr M shoots someone and that person dies from loss of blood then Mr M killed the guy (he shot the bullet which entered the body resulting in blood loss)

I guess with the next few versions of COVID the effectiveness of the vaccine can be seen (since it is supposed to me even more contagious and we will be able to gather effects on the vaccinated vs unvaccinated).

Most of these issues and questions will be worked out with time. History is often a bit more revealing than the present.

From what I am now seeing, It appears my antibodies to Covid will be far more effective long term than the gene therapy shots everyone is taking.

I did not know they were doing gene therapy for COVID. This is interesting.

Is Gene therapy supposted to replace the mRNA vaccines?

I think I'll stick with the current vaccine (it produces antibodies to fight the virus) and leave gene therapy alone....but that's just me.

No. The "vaccine" is gene therapy. Heard a British virologist explain that yesterday.

I am content just having the real Covid Antibodies and leaving the gene therapy experiment to y'all.

Uh....no, mRNA vaccines are not gene therapy.

Gene therapy is the transplantation of normal genes into cells in place of missing or defective ones in order to correct genetic disorders.

The COVID vaccine uses messenger RNA to elicit a biological response in order to produce antibodies to fight the COVID virus. It is, by definition, not gene therapy.

Maybe not your definition. Sure fit his.

People can call the dogs tail a leg, but that does not mean the dog has four legs.

The COVID vaccine has no effect on our genes, therefore it is not "gene therapy".

It is fine to decide not to take a vaccine - I respect that decision. But you have jumped from referring to the mRNA as one of these vaccines some think cause autism to calling it gene therapy.

It looks like you are grasping at every conspiracy theory that you come across if it "supports" your decision not to be vaccinated.

I support people making their own decisions about their health. But I think we should consider facts rather than propaganda (on both sides).

The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are mRNA vacvines. The Johnson and Johnson vacvine was developed from an adenovirus (a traditionalvaccine). None are gene therapies.
