And what point are you trying to prove?
That drinking done in moderation is okay. That smoking a Cegar on occasion may be okay.

And what point are you trying to prove?
There are three things that I love but abstain from them. Before I was saved I loved a good cigar and my pipe when at home. And either of them were enjoyed with three fingers of Wild Turkey Bourbon Whiskey. But by choice, I gave all three away to the World where I did these things.Charles Spurgeon not only drank beer and wine but also smoked to the glory of God. I hate cigarettes but how is a Cegar? Anyone here smoke? It's not good for you in excess but perhaps here and there would be okay.
No. But drinking in moderation is another matter.
That drinking done in moderation is okay. That smoking a Cegar on occasion may be okay.
I am also looking at the principle (indulging the flesh to the glory of God) and not the cigar itself (sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, but this time it's a principle).Wrong. I am looking to prove a point or just to discuss as I myself do not even smoke!
Than your argument needs to be made from Scripture, not past figures. Given what we know about what smoking does to the body, pointing to someone who lived prior to that information being widely known is a non-argument.That drinking done in moderation is okay. That smoking a Cegar on occasion may be okay.

Controversialist James White describing how he conducted experiments on himself with 'Smirnoff Ice' brand of malt liquor and found that imbibing it at bedtime gave him two to four extra hours of sleep per month!

Hey, how about Magic Mushrooms (Psylocibin)! ?Okay, I couldn't let this one slide.
Did God create wine?
Does it occur naturally somewhere? Or do the grapes have to be collected, placed in a container, and allowed to ferment?
Does this mean God created vodka? Or do the grains, cereals, whatever have to be mixed and allowed to be fermented?
How about beer? Or do those ingredients have to be mixed and allowed to ferment?
And let's not forget Mike's hard lemonades. Are those naturally occuring, or do they require someone to mix them?
There are SO many things wrong with this thread, starting with "smoked to the glory of God."
The author of this thread has been looking for justification of his lifestyle choices. I suggest he allow soul liberty to work in his life, and stop looking for validation from anonymous internet entities.
Then you can hallucinate to the glory of God.

I just checked in to see which moderator changed the thread title from cegar to cigar. It is difficult for me to believe that this is actually a thread topic.
