Something else I've noticed is how the MSM writes stories about how Republicans react to things Democrats say and/or do.

In the case of Northam's KKK photo you might see an article about, "Republicans Pounce on Northam's Photo." This is a sly way to deflect from what Northam actually did (which was repugnant) and make the story about Republicans outrage.

Well, that didn't take long...

TWITTER SCORNS CNN FOR FALSE REPUBLICAN LABEL ON VIRGINIA GOV. RALPH NORTHAM

As pressure mounted around Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam regarding a yearbook photo from 1984, the Democratic governor released an apologetic video on his Twitter account. But when CNN aired the video on Anderson Cooper 360 Friday evening, it labeled Northam with an (R) as Republican, and then removed the electronically-generated caption, or chyron, and later replaced it with (D).

But with a world quick on the electronic draw, social media quickly and fiercely tabbed the Cable News Network as falsely portraying Northam as Republican.

A woman has accused the lieutenant governor of Virginia, Justin Fairfax, of sexual assault.
------------------
The woman approached The Washington Post after Fairfax (D) won election in November 2017 and before he was inaugurated in January 2018, saying she felt as though she had an obligation to speak out.

The woman and Fairfax first met in Boston at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. During a conversation, the two realized they had a mutual friend. It was that commonality, she recalled, that put her at ease enough that on the afternoon Fairfax asked her to walk with him to his hotel room to pick up some papers, she thought nothing of joining him.

Fairfax and the woman told different versions of what happened in the hotel room with no one else present. The Washington Post could not find anyone who could corroborate either version.

Fairfax (D), who was not married at the time, has denied her account through his attorneys and described the encounter as consensual.

The woman described a sexual encounter that began with consensual kissing and ended with a forced act that left her crying and shaken.

The Post, in phone calls to people who knew Fairfax from college, law school and through political circles, found no similar complaints of sexual misconduct against him. Without that, or the ability to corroborate the woman’s account — in part because she had not told anyone what happened — The Post did not run a story.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/loca...ory.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.2f1a02111bbb
--------------

There are some similarities and some differences in these allegations to the allegations made by Christine Ford against Brett Kavanaugh.

The similarities: There is a woman claiming sexual assault. The man is denying it. There are no corroborating witnesses.

The differences: Unlike the Kavanaugh allegations, Fairfax admits there was a consensual encounter. Kavanaugh vehemently denied any encounter with his accuser. Fairfax's accuser has no other witnesses. Kavanaugh's accuser named other witnesses but all three of them denied they ever saw Kavanaugh do anything with Christine Ford.

Wild, unsupported accusations against Kavanaugh of drugging girls, excessive drinking, and rape parties found their way into the Washington Post.

Kavanaugh is a Republican; Fairfax is a Democrat.

WaPo ran the stories against Kavanaugh, they are declining to run the story against Fairfax.

On Friday President Trump signed a spending bill that averted another government shutdown. This spending bill did not contain the full amount of funding he wanted for the border wall. Earlier in the day he declared a national emergency saying he was going to find more funding for his signature border wall.

This has put Democrats in a tizzy. These same Democrats that applauded Obama at a state of the union address when he said he would issue an executive order to get his way on DACA and immigration after Congress refused to give him the policies he wanted. These same Democrats that launched attacks against Libya in 2011 using money found in the executive branch after Congress refused to fund Obama's military actions.

These Democrats are now apoplectic with condemnations and threats over Trump's plan to fund the Wall and have filed lawsuits to block his actions.

So what is the headline in the New York Times?

Trump's Wall Edict Puts GOP in a Bind

As if the story was about how downcast and troubled the Republicans are over these developments.

What's funny is that they both show him swearing an oath. He's already proven that oaths mean nothing to him.

Submitted for your approval.

Message: Trump is an evil, rich, white man that hates the poor and wants to see them hurt. Also, tariffs don't bother anyone else except the poor.

Breaking "News" on CNN. Just a teensy-weensy amount of editorializing in the crawl at the bottom of the screen.
