...I will recap, and continue from where I had left off.

We read of something extremely important in
Hebrews 2:16 [even dealing with the Everlasting Gospel, if any caught it] and in
Genesis 1:11-25 about
"nature"/
"flesh" of men and of 'the angelic hosts', and this was further verified by
1 Corinthians 15:38-41, in matters terrestrial [earthly], and matters celestial [Heavenly], and then throughout the Scriptures we saw that it was only the created beings upon this earth that could be
"fruitful",
"multiply" and
"bring forth abundantly" even from the
"loins", etc from
Genesis 1 and onward -

Following that was a brief message of pausation, and several key texts were just introduced
[Genesis 6-9; 17-19; Job 1 & 2; Peter & Jude, etc], to which the following materials will cover in their detail -

Now to the Genesis 6-9 verses, and let us take note of Chapter 6:
And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, - Genesis 6:1
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. - Genesis 6:2
And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also [is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. - Genesis 6:3
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown. - Genesis 6:4
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually. - Genesis 6:5
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. - Genesis 6:6
And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. - Genesis 6:7
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. - Genesis 6:8
These [are] the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man [and] perfect in his generations, [and] Noah walked with God. - Genesis 6:9
And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. - Genesis 6:10
The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. - Genesis 6:11
And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. - Genesis 6:12
And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. - Genesis 6:13
Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. - Genesis 6:14
And this [is the fashion] which thou shalt make it [of]: The length of the ark [shall be] three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. - Genesis 6:15
A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; [with] lower, second, and third [stories] shalt thou make it. - Genesis 6:16
And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein [is] the breath of life, from under heaven; [and] every thing that [is] in the earth shall die. - Genesis 6:17
But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee. - Genesis 6:18
And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every [sort] shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep [them] alive with thee; they shall be male and female. - Genesis 6:19
Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every [sort] shall come unto thee, to keep [them] alive. - Genesis 6:20
And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather [it] to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them. - Genesis 6:21
Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he. - Genesis 6:22
So, the question that is commonly asked by many [Christians and non-Christians alike]:
"Who are the "Sons of GOD" of Genesis 6:2,4?"
It would at first
seem that there is no immediate nearby answer in the text, and so, a vast majority of people immediately leave the safety of the nearby context, looking elsewhere [generally along the lines of the apocryphal
so-called "1 Book of Enoch"], and come to the premature and hazardous conclusion that the
"Sons of GOD" are those beings of the 'angelic hosts' [whether they are deemed of the 'good', bad' or some other 'ugly'].
Those which draw up such gnostic sources, make the claim that these so-called "Sons of God" [they call 'angels'] intermixed, interbred, and/or, worse yet, forced themselves upon helpless "human" women - the "daughters of men", thus bringing about what they would basically call "demon-spawned super human-hybrids" [or an unholy amalgamation of 'angel/devil and mankind'] whom are declared the "giants" ["Nephilim", etc.], "mighty men which [were] of old" and "men of renown", of such 'unions'.
There are some who tend to overly force the Scriptures, in these things, more specifically, utilizing the three similar verses of scripture in the
Book of Job [being Job 1:6, 2:1, 38:7] out of it's/their immediate context and very often rejecting or bypassing every other word on the matter and accepting the non-Scriptural source [*noted above] in its place.
As will be revealed, it is quite unnecessary and extremely destructive to the Word of God to force those texts to say that which they do not say.* Doing so will reveal some rather bizarre, errant ideologies and aberrant theologies – for instance, some of the more notable ones:
... "devil-human-hybrids",
... "physical lines of descendants of Satan (Serpent Seed theology)",
... "alien conspiracies (Reptilian Masters)",
... "super-human races" [think Aryan, etc],
... and in other known instances, also being used and stretched beyond even farcical eisegesis to try and provide evidence for an "evolutionary model and makeup within scripture [evolutionary model 'Neanderthal' breeding with various 'divergent' stock]", etc.
The Scripture does not teach any one of those things, and so without having to take my word for it, let us see the texts themselves and begin by eliminating a few things from the picture, by them.
