Exactly. It is illegal to drive a car while drunk, but it is not illegal to own a car. The problem is not the car. It is the actions of the driver.

A car is not designed to kill and harm someone else. A gun is. Unless you are a sportsman or hunter, I cannot see how a Christian in good conscience can own something which is deliberately and exclusively made to kill or maim his fellow-man.

Not difficult enough. If you can smuggle a weapon into, say, the Czech Republic, you can take it to Belgium or France without further difficulty because of the Schenken Agreement (open borders). Britain, praise the Lord, is not part of that; we have our own border checks, and quite recently found some guy trying to smuggle in semi-automatic weapons. He has been put away for a long time.
