Did you quote all of Ps 14 ? No you didn't, so you are being a hypocrite ! Now the scripture says that the Gospel is hid to them that are lost 2 Cor 4:3-4 and the it is permanently hid according to the greek tense of the verb hid, it is the perfect tense, do you understand that ?
Let all know the deceitfulness of SBM in his quoting of Scripture:
Here is what 2Cor.4:3 actually says:
2 Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
Notice Paul's words: "IF OUR GOSPEL BE HID,"
But Paul never preached an hidden or veiled (literally) gospel.
That is what the false teachers taught. His gospel was a glorious gospel that shined forth the light of Jesus Christ. It is the light that dispels the darkness.
He goes on to say in verse 4:
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest
the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
--The light of the glorious gospel: The gospel is always light; it always shines.
The light of the glorious gospel is Christ Himself. He is the image of God. Through Christ we see God. It is the only way. It is the only way a lost man can see God and be saved.
Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes unto the Father but by me."
He came to the lost, to save the lost. His message is to the lost. It is a glorious message to the lost.
Those that reject it will be blinded, and their blindness will be aided and abetted by Satan, the god of this world, that they believe not.
There is a reason why SBM will not quote the first part of verse. If he does it changes the meaning of the verse. It doesn't say what he wants it to say. Thus he takes the verse out of its context which is sad.
