Adonia, there is nothing in the Bible to back up what you have said. It is equal to me claiming that I am infallible in faith and morals as I speak in concert with my church softball team. Would you take my word for it if my softball team had been around for a millenium?

Do you see how silly it is for you to believe such an unsubstantiated claim by the pope and his pals? There is no biblical support to the claim. It is that claim that places the church of Rome as a cult along the lines of Jehovah's Witness or Mormons. No person is infallible or speaks infallibly other than God. The pope is just like me and nothing more.

I wouldn't take your word for anything as regards you and your softball team. A softball team is frivolous, but the teaching of the Scriptures under the auspices of the authority placed in that position by God is not.

So in reality then you are admitting that when you interpret the Scriptures and since you are a fallible human being, what you come up with could be wrong? Thank you, that's a start.

Of course I may be wrong. Just like the Pope may be wrong. The church at Berea questioned what the Apostle Paul taught and we're commended for it. You should question what your church teaches and hold it up against the Scriptures. In that way you can see when the church is teaching truth (there are things the Roman church teaches that are very much in line with the Scriptures) and when it is adding things not taught in the Bible.

Actually, not only have I answered this question every time you answered it, I also explained to you each time why not sinning in Heaven will not be indicative of the existence of Purgatory.

Matthew 12

32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

In the world to come is that a pizza hut? Or the afterlife?

1 Corinthian 3

13Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

I this going to happen to you? Does this sound like its going to happen in heaven? Does judgement occur in heaven?

By the time you enter heaven all that was sinful would have already been thrown in lake of fire, prior to you even seeing the gate. Revelations 21.

Hebrews 12

7It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. 9Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live? 10For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness.11All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.

Discipline? what discipline have you gone through? Tell me about that sorrowful discipline God has put you through.

I bet you haven't been disciplined one IOTA. In fact you just argue God can't discipline ANYBODY. Excuses, Excuses Excuses...... God don't discipline me I got this here sin nature, I don't have to DO ANYTHING, don't need discipline, I just wait and after I die God will surgically remove my sin nature brain and replace it with a brand spanking new brain.

James 2
20But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless?

Who is he talking to, me? What should I tell him?

NO sirree! all I needs is FAITH!

Luther did not only want reform he wanted to change things drastically, and his refiguring of the Holy Scriptures is the prime evidence of this.

Really? The 95 Theses were a classic call to discuss an issue on an academic level. Things degenerated, but the initial impetus was reform.

As to his "refiguring of the Holy Scriptures," Luther's analysis of the New Testament canon was roughly the same as Cardinal Catejan's (showing that it wasn't a johnny-come-lately view) and his analysis of the Old Testament essentially was the same as Catejan's and Jerome's, heretics that they were.

Sorry. The Scriptures and the historical fact. Come on, you know the passages - "You are Peter and upon this rock......". The "binding and loosing" power. The fact that there was only one entity, led by the Bishop's, those same people who called the various synods and councils. So from this power as things went on traditions were established and handed down. This pretty much was the score until the great schism between East and West in 1054. What, none of that stuff happened?

Sure it did. I'm glad to see you recognize the authority of the ecumenical councils. So I suppose you will agree that an ecumenical council's authority exceeds that of the Bishop of Rome's. That would seem to be the logical conclusion.

Sounds like us. Peter and the Apostles decision to allow gentiles and not have them circumcised was not a scriptural ruling. Peter, leader of the apostles was given vision by God, and he brings the case up to the church.

Had they been Sola Scripturist the whole thing would have gone down differently because the Judaisers had a SOLID scriptural case.

The church was around before the bible. The authors were Catholic, Jesus Christ is catholic, the first catholic #1.

You add to the bible. Namely a rule that says it has to be in the bible to be christian. That the bible is sole rule of faith and the final authority.

Both Unbiblical False teachings. Your going to face God one day and he is going to ask when did >>>I<<< tell you a book was authority?

But what can you expect from common sense of a person who reads "not by faith alone" and concludes "its faith alone"?

1. Yes. Not only is it going to happen to me, it's going to happen to all born again believers. It's called the Bema Seat Judgment and is something we look forward to.

Catholics, however, will stand before the White Throne Judgment, which you probably shouldn't look forward to.

2. Yes. It happens in Heaven.

3. Yes. Judgement occurs in Heaven.

And before you ask again, which you will,

4. No, there will be no sinning in Heaven'

5. Yes, I agree with Revelation 21, which says that nothing unclean will enter Heaven.

Discipline? what discipline have you gone through? Tell me about that sorrowful discipline God has put you through.

Why in the world would I want to share something personal with an internet troll?

In fact you just argue God can't discipline ANYBODY.

Actually, I've never argued this at all. To the contrary, I've been very consistent that God does discipline.

Ironic, given that you just called me a liar.

Excuses, Excuses Excuses...... God don't discipline me I got this here sin nature, I don't have to DO ANYTHING, don't need discipline, I just wait and after I die God will surgically remove my sin nature brain and replace it with a brand spanking new brain.

Go ahead and mock God. I'm sure you can make up for that with a few Hail Marys.

James 2
20But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless?

Who is he talking to, me?

The same people he's talking to in the previous 19 verses you keep ignoring because they say that works are evidence of salvation, not a means of salvation.

You are arguing for creating a cult with no standard by which to measure truth and no God to give guidance, utilyan. Your views are of little value to me.
