You are very confused in what you are trying to prove
Your the one who is confused and is why you will not answer my post. You think you know but you don't. Your post #9 this thread proves it. You do not believe Jesus and God are the same God according to what I read from you. If not please explain What you said.

Jesus Christ and the Father are distinct Persons Who are equally Almighty God. So is the Holy Spirit. This is the Holy Trinity

See what I mean you believe the Father and Jesus are two Gods. Is there two equal Gods or are they the same God?
Joh_14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Joh_14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Jesus is the Father and vise versa

Jesus PRAYED often. The lesser always prays to the greater. And Jesus said, "My Father is greater than I."

I really don't know where you get your theology from? If it is from a CoE Church, then this probably explains it.

HOW can Jesus be the same PERSON as the Father, when verses like John 1:1, are very clear that there are TWO distinct Persons, yet ONE God.

"the Word (Person 1) was WITH (in the presence of) God (Person 2)"; and "the Word was God" as in His essential nature. What is so difficult in this?

If, as you say that Jesus is "lesser" than the Father, then explain John 5:23 for starters?
Joh 5:23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son, honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
This verse ends up as support for the Father and the Son being the same God.If you do not honor the Son you do not honor the Father. There is no support for your theory there.
The reason is they are one in the same God. For your information I was raised as a Freewill Baptist and stilll am a Baptist And have been for Over 60 years.

Look also at the end, the Father SENT the Son so they cannot be the same Person

It is complicating because of understanding each other. Both of you seem to me to be saying there is no trinity. And from what I read from each of you. You seem to be saying the same of me. I'm trying to explain the trininty as I understand it. This is all three being the same God.The Father ,The Son and The holy Spirit are one God. Sort of like God has three Offices and is still just one God. This is hard to wrap your mind around. Never the less it is true.

You are describing here either Oneness or Modualism, not the biblical Trinity!

Is Christ the one true God? Is the Father the one true God? Is the Spirit also God? if you believe so then you believe in the trinity. as I do. If not then which one isn't really God?

Are all 3 of them God at same time and all are equally God?

And Jesus didn't PRAY to Himself, & not even He can be GREATER than Himself ! ! !
