Nonesense. Not Biblical.that does not mean the Logos came into being before all ages but that He was begotten before all ages...
in the beginning was the word ,so He was eternally begotten before any beginnings!Nonesense. Not Biblical.
The teaching, "begotten from the Father before all ages," is not even true. From the perspective of the "eternal Son" being the LORD God He is the one and the very same God as the Father. Without cause, and the Son being the Word, the Logos is the sole cause of all caused things, John 1:3.that refers to Jesus being eternally God!
That is a denial that He is the LORD [YHWH] God. The LORD [YHWH] God is uncaused and the sole cause of all caused things, John 1:3.in the beginning was the word ,so He was eternally begotten before any beginnings!
He had no starting point, no cause for Him to exist, as eternally was with the father and was also God Himself! When did he start to be begotten, always has been! The teaching, "begotten from the Father before all ages," is not even true. Caused means created, and Jesus was eternally begotten of the father and was Himself fully God!That is a denial that He is the LORD [YHWH] God. The LORD [YHWH] God is uncaused and the sole cause of all caused things, John 1:3.
yes He is co-eternal with the Father and the Spirit. As Micah said, origin was from eternity past, from everlasting!
Some really get stuck on begotten somehow meaning He was caused!yes He is co-eternal with the Father and the Spirit.
Nonesense. Eternity is with the LORD [YHWH] God. The Father, Son of God and the Holy Spirit are the one and the same LORD [YHWH] God. The Son who is the Word, the Logos, who is the sole cause of all caused things, John 1:3, being one and the same LORD [YHWH] God as His Father. He had no starting point, no cause for Him to exist, as eternally was with the father and was also God Himself! To be begotten is to be caused. Some really get stuck on begotten somehow meaning He was caused!
How does only begotten change/alter any of that though?Nonesense.
Not when its eternal! To be begotten is to be caused.
Gibberish. To be begotten is to be caused.Caused means created, and Jesus was eternally begotten of the father and was Himself fully God!
NO, Begotten means "emanates from" in the 4th century Greek and Latin of the Nicene council. To be begotten is to be caused.
What would be eternal would never be begotten to be,Not when its eternal!
What would be eternal would never be begotten to be,
Begotten denotes a cause. And "begotten from the Father before all ages," has aboslutely no place from the word God. It effectively denies the Son of God of the Bible being the LORD [YHWH, the self Existent] God. Again, that false teaching has no origin from the word of God.NO, Begotten means "emanates from" in the 4th century Greek and Latin of the Nicene council.
It is a totally unBiblical use of the term begotten. Not when its eternal!
That creed has false teaching. The mixture of truth with error never makes the lies of error true." The Council of Nicea took place in AD 325 by order of the Roman Emperor Caesar Flavius Constantine. Nicea was located in Asia Minor, east of Constantinople. At the Council of Nicea, Emperor Constantine presided over a group of church bishops and other leaders with the purpose of defining the nature of God for all of Christianity and eliminating confusion, controversy, and contention within the church. The Council of Nicea overwhelmingly affirmed the deity and eternality of Jesus Christ and defined the relationship between the Father and the Son as “of one substance.” It also affirmed the Trinity—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were
