If we're talking about the same Larry Brown (the one who likes to wave a white hankie in a circle), he preached at our church many times. Once he jumped up on the back of the pew, pointed his finger at my husband, and called him a 'bonehead'.

I sure did love the bags of pecans his father brought me every time they came to IL though.

We didn't get offended at Larry Brown's antics. We just thought it was funny. I'm not sure I would want that every Sunday though...

I saw Larry Brown climb up on top of the pulpit while he was preaching. When he got up there, it tipped up ever so slightly on one end, everybody cringed and held their breath to see if it would go over, and it came back down and we exhaled. I think he's a lunatic.

A couple pages ago, though, I laughed so hard for so long, imagining a preacher jumping on a pew and calling a stranger a bonehead. That is hilarious to me!
