so, is God the cause of their wills rejecting Jesus Christ, indirectly?

You folks are beating this one to death. Gods nature is that of Love. He is Love. He loves all people. Salvation is offered to all. The simple fact is God has never forced a single person to get saved. The truth is people go to hell because they reject Gods love and his gift of Salvation. The free will that God has given to men that they might make that choice is what makes God who he is. Loves does not demand its way. God does not demand. Just as Christ was slain from the foundations of the world. Hell was appointed from the same foundations of the world. God knew that man would fall from the foundation of the world, He knew one Day that he has appointed Satan to be chained in hell. He knew that some people would reject him and also go to hell. But it was not his will for them to go to hell. They made there own will there god. Instead of receiving Gods love and forgiveness they exercised there free will to reject God love and Gift.

Joseph, you make it all sound so sentimental, and as if God is just resigned to the fact that the majority of his creation, will end up lost forever! "God does not demand", says you, but the Bible clearly says that "God COMMANDS every person everywhere to REPENT" (Acts 17:30), Do you think that this COMMAND of God is not a DEMAND from Him?

Would it be wrong to have God have the final choice to whom salvation will come unto?

Simple said, you do not do the commandments of God? Why do you think the world will do them.

So it would be wrong to let God have the final say on salvation?
