Physical dependencies is not addiction? ??????????????????????????????????

Here is the definition of addiction from dictionary.com

"the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to such an extent that its cessation causes severe trauma."
God has shortened that definition to one word. SIN

No addiction is a sinful desire. The infant in your scenario doesn't have a sinful desire. The infant simply has physical dependencies on the drug. A addict also has those same physical dependencies, but they obtained those dependencies from their sin.
