Well, of course, it was the diabetes which took my blood pressure out of order and caused my strokes. I was doing all the right things, and it still went out of control. All we can do is watch what we eat, drink and exercise....you know who controls the rest.
I still believe everything has a reason. I am doing aspects of ministry that I might never have considered before.
Some confuse the types of diabetes. Type I is usually brought on in childhood, but some adults go onto insulin straight off, but are still Type II or adult-onset diabetes. The need for insulin does not change the type.
I guess the major difference is that type 1 does not have the insulin and type II cannot convert the insulin.
Diabetes is diabetes and that is enough.
