You make you choice, you accept the consequences!!! Entirely up to you!

As one wise person once said, "You are free to choose; you are NOT free to choose the consequences of your choice."
This is all the folks are asking for, the option to choose!
This is false.

What they want is the freedom to choose without consequences.

Covid has been declared a workplace hazard. Tge vacvine has been proven to effectivy combat the spread of covid.

In the US we have the right to a safe work environment (under Labor laws). I have the right to work in an environment that either requires vaccines or tests the unvaccinated for covid.

Employers have the right to decide what they will do.

You have the right to make your own choice but not the right to choose for an employer or to put me at risk in the workplace.

What other long-term consequences are there from the vaccine?
There are none. Vacvines have a very short active life. After 4 days there are no mRNA traces left, the lipids (suspension) broken down or passed within a week and the proteins are destroyed within 3 weeks.

Any long term effect would be related to a continued issue from a short term effect.

The Pfizer vaccine was first used May 2020.

My concern would be primarily with anaphylaxis as we start vaccinating children.

It's a good thing we can be 100% positive that there are no long term side effects with the vaccine.

That must be why you have to sign a waiver before taking it.

For some, I agree.

But not for many. As I said, a member here told me he planned on taking the vaccine until Biden won the election and urged the vaccine.

Many who were opposed to the vaccine have taken it because Biden won the election as well.

People are stupid.
If you are talking about what I told you, then you mis stated what I said. Didn't say urged. Said tried to force. Huge difference.
You might not be talking about me.

Why do you think you have to sign a waiver before taking a covid vaccine?

This year I took three Moderna vaccines, a pneumonia vacvine and a flu shot. I did not sign a waiver. I signed the medical consent forms that I always sign for a shot, but nothing different.

Somebody has told you wrong.

not only that but that paper that comes with medication that talks about details of the medicine to include side effects is mostly blank in the box for the vaccines

67% of the US population has been vaccinated against the sars-cov-2 virus, with 29,819,427 recent vaccinations awaiting their second shot.

Alabama, Mississippi, West Virginia, and Wyoming are the only states with a vaccination rate under 50% for those 18 years and older.

As we see more and more covid being a fatal epidemic among the unvaccinated we have seen an increase in vaccinations (since August 1st there have been 56,587,768 first shots given).

The goal is 80% vaccinated.

I am increasingly of the opinion it is time for the nation to move on, and forward, without the immunization resistant people.

My reasoning is those who have had covid (which I suspect make up quite a bit of the vaccine rejectors) have at least some level of protection. Many of these have had covid multiple times.

There is no need, IMHO, To wait on the rejections, especially as the vaccination rates continue to climb.

Companies can require vaccinations as a condition of employment or they can test the unvaccinated on a regular basis. Large venues can require proof of vaccination. Airlines and cruise lines can require proof of vaccinations. We have the ability to use passport apps to verify vaccinations.

So let's get this show on the road. The unvaccinated can remain behind or catch up - their choice. But perhaps it is time to stop waiting and simply move forward.

The test needed is for the necessary level of antibodies to provide minimum protection for Covid. This test could be administered annually, and booster shots mandated as a condition of employment if the employer thinks it wise. Does such a test exist and will the employers pay for it?

yep I wonder just how many of these employers would be mandating it if it cost them something substantial.

Test is available, problem is no one can decide what level is sufficient. Unvaxed recovered have a higher level than vaxed. They can't meaningfully discuss the issue without exposing the vax.
