I cannot find any credible source that backs up your statement. And I find plenty of evidence on Planned Parenthood's site that says Bush is no friend of theirs. Can you post up something that will prove what you said ?

I'm trying to find the link on Title X funds, that's where it's at.

Found it. http://www.covenantnews.com/lefemine050208.htm

They should, your tax dollars are supporting Planned Parenthood and abortion clinics with Bush.
As with earlier you asked for links to prove my statement, which by the way I provided several, and there were hundreds more I offered, I now ask for proof. If not retract your statement.

The links are on this forum, posted today.

This FY 2005 Bush administration Title X funding level of $288 million (an estimated $50-$60 million of which will be paid to Planned Parenthood Federation of America, for population control), exceeds by over $30 million, the highest Title X level during the Clinton administration, in FY 2001, of $254 million!

Any more questions, since you have questioned my integrity on at least three threads on this same subject Donna?

I do not need to look for any other reasons to vote against a party that supports murdering 4,000 American babies a day! I just do not understand how anyone who is a Christian could either.

The other route is nothing more than lip service. Vote for them on their vote getting lines if you want. The other party gives millions to help kill those same babies.

Thank you, JerryL. But Covenant news is not what I would call a credible source. I found that one by googling, and couldn't swallow it. I agree that Bush has not done enough to stop abortion, but I'm not going to buy that he actually profits from it.

I did. If it was a real story, it would have legs. The MSM would not let it go if it had any chance of being an issue. But I am willing to read any other link you can find. I'm not saying it isn't true, mind you....

I'm sure many of you have seen this, but at the bottom of this message is a press release containing some real, hard evidence that not only has our Republican, "pro-life" president betrayed his pro-life constituency ( and the unborn babies) by increasing the tax money used to fund America's largest abortion provider -- Planned Parenthood -- for the fifth consecutive year, but Mississippi's "pro-life", Republican Congressional delegation was an accessory to this crime against God & man. ** See press release below for more details and facts **

This has been debunked by Planned Parenthood.
Title X appropriation for FY 2005 (Oct. 2004 to Sept. 2005) was signed into law as part of H.R. 4818 , the mammoth appropriations bill which contained the huge outlays for the (unconstitutional) Department of Health and Human Services.

Republican-majority U.S. House approved H.R. 4818 by a vote of 344 to 51, on November 20, 2004 (Roll Call Number: 542). [Republicans 183 Yea, 27 Nay; Democrats 160 Yea, 24 Nay; 1 Independent Yea]

Check your years Rev., it's not 2008, it's 2005. Show me where they say it's a lie.

Let me tell you what is debunked. That somehow the President supports abortion. Regardless of signing this into law at the time the President has in effect reveresed the effects of the 2005 bill. Chuck should be ashamed to be part of this misrepresentation. The signing of this one bill does not represtn the whole picture.

So the mantra that the Republicans only give lip service to abortion is now debunked by Planned Parenthood and recent activities of this administration.

I found it myself.
Over the past 30 years, Title X family planning clinics have played a critical role in ensuring access to a broad range of family planning and related preventive health services for millions of low-income or uninsured individuals and others. In addition to contraceptive services and related counseling, Title X-supported clinics provide a number of related preventive health services such as: patient education and counseling; breast and pelvic examinations; breast and cervical cancer screening according to nationally recognized standards of care; sexually transmitted disease (STD) and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) prevention education, counseling, testing and referral; and pregnancy diagnosis and counseling. By law, Title X funds may not be used in programs where abortion is a method of family planning.
