Not sure about that, but let's just consider the top Catholic Anti semites and mass murderers of the last century.
Mussolini.
Franco
Hitler as well
Stalin (Yes he was a political atheist but had studied at a Jesuit seninary in Georgia, and at one time tried to get a fellow seminary elected as pope,)
Stepinac
Many others if you wish for a list

‘One can just look at Foxe’s Book of Martyrs to see that Catholics aren’t perfect. That being said I listed Protestants because I was asked about my not being a Protestant - not about not being Catholic.

Baptists are not protestants, they existed before the reformation, in fact they have existed since NT times but were persecuted by Rome in empire days, and since constantine brought in State Christianity, in the form of Othodox (Greek) and Catholic (Rome) they have been persecuted by both those branches of Heretics.

Sorry I disagree on this but please correct me if I am wrong. I think baptists take all there beliefs from scripture the same as all other mainstream protestant denominations so on what grounds do you claim they existed in there interpretation existed before the reformation?

From the Baptist History and Heritage Society website. They write: "Our best historical evidence says that Baptists came into existence in England in the early seventeenth century. They apparently emerged out of the Puritan-Separatist movement in the Church of England".

"They formed separate congregations which accepted only believers into their membership, and they baptized converts upon their profession of faith. Their opponents nicknamed them “Baptists,” and the name stuck".

"The first General Baptist church, led by John Smyth, was founded in Amsterdam, Holland, in 1608/09. Its members were English refugees who had fled England to escape religious persecution".

Sorry, but according to your own brethren you are a bit off.

Can you please provide evidence of this assertion? Evidence would include names of Baptist bishops, leaders, liturgical texts used, names of saints and martyrs memorialized, grave sites, archaeological evidence of their churches, meeting halls and domus ecclesia, baptisteries, etc. If they were persecuted, please provide writings of their leaders against the Orthodox and Catholics who were persecuting them in antiquity or Councils held whereby they condemned the Orthodox and Catholics.

I look forward to your findings and thank you in advance.

What, you've never heard of the 1st Baptist Church of Jerusalem? The Early Baptist Church Fathers? Shame on you for being so ignorant of Baptist history.

Haha!

Finding Protestants - particularly Baptists - in antiquity is like finding the Loch Ness monster, Sasquatch or the South Georgia Snipe.

They live only in fantasy.

I believe the churches were birthed in time and Christ walks i the midst of all of them...

The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; - Revelation 1:20-Revelation 2;1

Ephesus - Messianic
Smyrna - Martyr - Foxes has the Roman persecutions as ten
Pergamos - Orthodox... Pergos is a tower... Needed in the dark ages
Thyatira - Catholic - The spirit of Jezebel is to control and to dominate.
Sardis - Protestant - A sardius is a gem - elegant yet hard and rigid
Philadelphia - Wesleyism - To be sanctioned is to acquire it with love.
Laodicea - Materialistic - Rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing?

Paul had to chastise the Messianic for not wanting to eat with the early Gentile church and for espying the uncircumcised. And it has been that way ever since. Denominations don’t fellowship often together. It should be obvious in church history....

Messianic have seniority over Orthodox
Orthodox have seniority over Catholic
Catholic has seniority over Protestant
Protestant was before the Great Awakening
The materialistic church came last

In European Thyatirean times you would not have wanted to speak out against the Catholic Church. This spirit, sad to say, also carried over to other denominations.

Acts 2:41 So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.

Here's the point: Christianity of antiquity is demonstrably Catholic. By contrast, you cannot find Protestantism in antiquity. No names of Protestant bishops, leaders or preachers. No writings. No archaeological sites such as churches, baptisteries or meeting halls. No names of martyrs. No liturgical texts. No councils being held by them. No tombs of their dead. No epitaphs. No art. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.

Finding Protestantism in antiquity is like searching for the Loch Ness monster, the Sasquatch or the South Georgia Snipe.

This is a ridiculously ignorant post.

NONE
of the men you names were Catholics in good standing.
As a matter of fact - they were self-excommunicated for their atrocities.

You really should do your homework . . .

Protestantism came about in Sardisean times...

What state controlled the Church of Rome?

Can you offer any evidence of Protestantism in antiquity? Names of leaders? Writings from anyone holding their views? Archaeological sites of their churches / meeting halls? Names of their saints and martyrs? Gravesites? Epitaphs? Art work? Liturgical texts? Correspondence between their adherents? Anything?

Then, according to the Council of Trent, you're anathema. And, according to anyone who knows Catholicism, you have no clue what you're talking about.
Care to show us where Trent calls "anathema" those who preach Christ crucified, or teach that that through His death and resurrection we have salvation??

I eagerly await your intelligent response . . .

So, if I say "A", your challenge is for me to show you where something says "B"?

Seems kind of disingenuous to me. But then, given your previous posts and your disregard for the truth, it doesn't surprise me.
