I have a handful, but maybe the biggest one is the claim that mental illness is a moral failing on the sufferer's part, or a result of the sufferer not having enough faith. Miss me with that thx

Finding fault but not presenting the correct view. Like saying Calvinism is false doctrine, but not offering an alternate doctrine from scripture.

A vast number of posts simply say "taint so" but offer no correct view.

One of mine is when people claim one holds to "bogus theology", and yet they misunderstand what my theology is, and what the scriptures say!

The topics don't necessarily "ruffle my feathers," but my main problem with reading this forum is how some posters make posts that look like dissertations without footnotes as opposed to simply making conversational posts. Saying this, I would love to see members post a brief summary before posting a 2000 word explanation to back up their thesis. I just don't have hours available to read this forum.

Topics don't ruffle my feathers, if I don't want address a specific topic... I don't!... What ruffles my feathers more than anything on this board, is the topic or OP I want to address, some posters go on and on and on and on... In posting succession and who knows where to jump in?... You want to post a book... Write one!... I don't need to be reminded how learned the brethren are I have some learning too... I agree with this poster who posted this, but I had it on the back burner and was going to let it slide, then again it needs to see the light of day... So I posted it... Will we see some changes?... Well I guess we'll wait and see... Brother Glen:)

Along these same lines, people who argue that Christians should never suffer from depression!

1.Liberals and leftists who try to use the arguments of either ignorance or intolerance in the attempt to silence their opposition.
2. The argument of save the snail and murder the baby
3. The foolish argument that morality cant be legislated.
4. Liberals who argue under the guise of being moderate.

One more thing... Some brethren come on here and preach a sermon... If I want a sermon I will go to church... Brother Glen:)

1) Those who say that the left or the right is wrong about everything.
Even a clock is right twice a day

2) Those who major on the minors. For example - if a pastor somehow every week
puts into his message that longer hair on a man is an abomination to the Lord.
(BTW, as a Vet, I still have a GI haircut {no - I am not talking about a Marine Haircut} )

I don't really think any topics that ruffle my feathers. I believe Christians should be able to discuss anything together in a Christ-like manner.

Sometimes my pet peeves are HOW a person answers topics.

And that includes myself.
