What a confusing mish-mash of theology of God's sovereignty, man's free will, and Satan's powers. Using this as a template I can make anything that happens in the world look like God is on the side of Trump and/or the USA.
I see all of the time. People from both of the major camps select the verses that fit their preconceived ideas and the yrun with it. But if we use all of the scripture dealing with the issue it is a simple thing to figure out.
Predestination is a stone cold fact, the Word of God teaches it but if we deal with it from the position of the Calvinist, generally, makes God out to be capricious, at the very best. Because that position says that God creates people for no other reason than to go to the Lake of Fire for all eternity.
If we go from the view of Arminianism and men are only saved by grace, we deny predestination and I do not ever want to deny any of God's Word.
The Bible is inspired/written by one God and I will suggest by one person of the God Head, Jesus, the Son of God. (John 1:1-3) There is nothing that He did not create. So, How does it work that both predestination and arminianism can have gotten it wrong?
The answer's location just drives the World insane, crying Circular Logic. Of course they are correct but there is nothing else that can begin to understand God, there is not another like Him. But from the scriptures we learn that God is Omnipotent (John 10:29, Gen 1:1) and God is Omnipresent (Psa 139).
The problem with humans is this is all we see. We are on the inside of creation trying to look out but God is here, right now and He is on the outside looking in at the same time. Let's begin with the Time/Space Continuum He created for us to measure time and distance against.
God created the Time/Space Continuum that was not before, placing God on the outside and speaking it into existence. Now we know there is no limit to what God can do and we know He is not constrained by time nor space. And we know, for a fact that He wrote the Book of Life before He created the first thing.
The scriptures teach us the many are called but few are chosen and as I read John 3:16-8 it is safe to say that the many that are called are all that ever live have been called but not many have answered the door of their hearts. (2Pet 3:9)
This can hurt your head if you let it but if you ever get your head wrapped around it, the Bible makes perfect sense. So or time is not God's time and scripture confirms that to be truth. We serve a God of unlimited power and ability and it important to remember that because anywhere in the world, God is there, right now and anytime in the past God has been but looking at this from outside our Time/Space Continuum the past and the present are for God and time has meant nothing to Him, He created it, solely for us.
