Obviously, I don't think we should be squelching people's right to free speech by law. But if I had a player/employee who disrespected the flag and my battle buddies by kneeling/sitting during the national anthem, I'd fire them in a heart beat.President Trump: If you don't stand for the national anthem you should be fired.

The problem I see is that the people who show this disrespect aren't sending the message they intend (unless of course that message IS disrespect). They say that they are sending a message concerning the systemic racism in our country. Even if that were true, what they are actually doing is disrespecting the men and women who have fought so that they could have the freedom to disrespect them.
It's idiotic and misguided at best. And that's giving them the benefit of the doubt.
