Both BLM and Antifa are a coalition of disparate groups united by the common maxim of 'my enemy's enemy is my friend'. As such, there will inevitably be fringe elements espousing kookie causes. But their basic aims - to combat racism and fascism - are ones which I hope all Christians can get behind.

Not so the Nazis. We know what they do...

No. Comparison.
As a Christian, I don't see where I should get behind people donning masks to crack skulls in public, or get behind people who suport racial separatism and cop killing.

Lets examine the means, not just the purported ends.

Anyone who fights Nazis is a Good Guy as far as I'm concerned, as a starting point. I'm astonished that this is even in doubt on a Christian discussion forum, but we live in strange times...
Antifa is not a police, military, or government entitiy. Why should we bequeath them the ability to be judge, jury, and executioner?

Vigilantism just begats more vigilantism.

If you want to talk about methodology, I don't see much equivalence between throwing urine-filled bags on the one hand, and turning up to a Nazi rally armed to the teeth with assault weapons.

If the government won't have the cojones to stop them, then who will?

Then let me help. One is against the law. The other isn't.

If radical Islamists turned up to a rally with AK47s, shouting "Death to America " or some similar pleasantries, you'd let them get on with it?

If they had a permit. I would walk the other way, shaking the dust off my feet as I went.

Oh please. Don't go there. You'd be typing in German if we stayed home.
I agree with that....which makes your previous comment all the more surprising.

A Nazi is a Nazi. Doesn't matter whether they're a German Nazi in 1944 or a British or American Nazi in 2017.

So matt supports the racism and evil actions of the blm and antifa but condemns the racism of neo-nazis, we get it.
