Trump - Kim Summit

Statement from Trump, Kim Jong Un

Regardless of a person's political convictions, we should all be pleased that this summit seems to have laid a foundation for future discussions and the possible denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. The statement is short on details but speaking realistically, this was a good first step. What I did not like was the repeated handshakes between an American president and the murderous dictator of North Korea. I also did not like the United States flag being equally displayed with the North Korean flag. I suppose it was to be expected. A historic meeting like this does require compromise on formalities.

Now we get to wait and see whether any substance will follow. Will Kim refuse to take the next step? Will President Trump maintain his resolve or will he give in like his predecessors? In the end, will all of this lead to the success of the gospel in North Korea? Let us pray that is the case.

The Democrats have issued a letter stating all of things that NK must adhere to in dismantling their nuclear program or they will not support the deal. They of course issued no such demand when Obama was inking his deal with the Iranians and their nuclear program.

As though the Democrats will support anything this president does.

Look, I have been critical of this president and will continue to criticize him when warranted. But I am also going to give him credit when it is due. I am not going to be like Bill Maher who wants the economy to tank so that Trump will not be re-elected. The type of Liberalism/Progressivism we see in Washington, the media, and Hollywood is proof of a collective mental illness.

America needs to snatch N. Korea out of the hands of China and yes even become an ally.

China will then be surrounded by our allies.

Proving democrats aren't interested at all in the peace process.

To them it's a partisan political process, just like everything else.

I do not get Rodman’s connection with the NORKS. But he has one and has had it for a while. And I also know he’s liable to do just about anything to get on tv. (I miss the days he when he was hands down the best defensive player in the league).

But when he told of Obama refusing to talk five years ago...

I believe him.

This shows us that we must deal with nations such as NK, China, russia et all thru peace by our economic and military might, and not expect them to be wooed by our flowery speech, like under president Obama. the liberals and media and others really thought Obama was like the Black messiah, and just his words would bedazzle them into submission!

Yes, as many of them would prefer to see us going into Depression, and NK launching nukes before giving trump any credit!

What must chaff them big time is that we all saw the fruit of liberalism , which produced bad economy, wreaked homes, US weaker, and now see quickly what conservative, and dare i say it, Godly principles produce in fruit!
For such times of these facing us now, God raised up president trump....

N. Korea would be a good ally. A relationship with them would put China in panic mode.

China is to big to care unfortunately.... we fought them in Korea, we fought them in Vietnam and I fear we will have to fight them again somewhere of their manipulative choosing....they are more deceptive than we could ever know.
