So when we have the ability to stop chemical weapons being used, we should just ignore it? When North Korea gets to place mad man can lauch his Nukes on us, just ignore it, same way when iran gets the nuke?
Are you advocating for a neville Chamberlein approach now to Hitler?
I don't recall us doing anything when Israel used chemical weapons in Gaza

The Japanese had it coming - they started the war and had given no indication that they were willing to surrender any time soon before the bombs were dropped. They were the most brutal kind of people in the conquest of Asia and the Pacific areas, and all they did was supported by the Emperor and the people of japan.

What they did to the people in Nanking China was simply horrendous. When they took Hong Kong they went into the hospitals and bayoneted the wounded, raped the nurses and then bayoneted them! We cannot forget the "Bataan Death March" and all the men they killed there and the way they treated all the allied POW's they captured in general. These people herded American military personnel into below ground air raid shelters on Palawan Island, doused them in gasoline and set them alight.

I could go on and on about the atrocities they committed in WW2, but sorry they got what they deserved at Hiroshima and Nagasaki and we did the right thing. I thank God for Harry Truman because my Dad was there in the Pacific and his outfit was scheduled to be in on the invasion of Japan. American planners expected American casualties was to be in the range of 1 million - dead and wounded combined because in every previous battle the Japanese never surrendered, they literally fought to the death.

In religious terms they reaped what they sowed and I don't feel the least bit of remorse for what happened to them in those two cities.
Sorry, I missed that memo in Christian ethics where it said that two wrongs make a right

Well, now that it's apparently ok to launch air strikes on people we think are poisoning children, I look forward to the first air strikes on Scott Pruitt and those responsible for the drinking water scandal in Flint...

Are you going to spam the entire site with this, or will this be the last time we see it?

I know the Syrian Orthodox aren't American Baptists but they are real people, concerned people, and they live there, and they've lived there for many years.

The US & UK use of chemical warfare - e.g. agent orange & depleted uranium weapons & armour - is well known to be causing countless victims in the countries where they are used. And US military personnel & their families are suffering also.

But if "we" use such evil weapons it's OK, 'cos we are wearing the white hats.

There was no target to nuke on Okinawa. Or rather there were more targets than we had nuclear bombs (two). I may be wrong. But, I think you know very little about the Okinawa campaign or how the island fit into the Japanese empire or American strategy.

You would be wrong.

But be that as it may,Japanese defenses were almost all on the southern end of the island, but there's a chance we didn't know that for sure.

Doesn't matter at all. Spamming is against the rules.

Don't like the truth much?

Don't like spam. Whether it's the truth or not makes no difference. It's like yelling out "hey look at me . Look what I found" Desperate for attention.

Plus it's against forum rules.

You don't like posting by the rules much?

Good for you. There are too many hardliners on BB, and in this world, who don't like the truth, and try to shut up others whom they don't agree with! keep posting what you think is right. It is an open forum after all, some get offended, that's tough!

You mean the way you bang on about the Muslims all the time? Can't take it, don't dish it out!

I don't recall Carpro going on about Muslims all the time. Besides, the objection by Carpro is that Covenanter is posting the exact same thing in multiple threads. Which is exactly what Covenanter is doing.

Also, I'm failing to see why these church patriarchs are experts on the issue.

Furthermore, if you read the entire statement it ends with, "We salute the courage, heroism, and sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army which courageously protects Syria and provides protection for its people."
(I think they misspelled "Russian Air Force" and "slaughter dissenters" in that statement. Oh well...)

Muslims are certainly his bête noir obsession.

We've seen what happens to Christians when Assad's forces are withdrawn: ISIS comes along, destroys their churches and massacres or enslaves them. I think the Christians in Syria are in a better position to judge what's good for them than you or me as 'armchair Western Christians'. And the link Covenanter has posted seems to me to be germane to each of the threads on which s/he's put it.

So you should be able to pull up numerous posts of his where he mentions Muslims, right? Let's say in the last month to six weeks. That should be a good timeframe for at least a half dozen posts for someone you allege is obsessed with Muslims.

I am amazed (or, am I?), that there are some on here, especially from the USA, who are supportive of the ILLEGAL actions of Trump. Here is a complete knucklehead as supposed "president" of what is meant to be a "superpower", whatever that means, who has NO IDEA on leading any country, decide WITHOUT any solid evidence, like Bush Jr. did, bomb another sovereign nation! It is very clear from this and other actions, that the US are more interested in bully tactics, than doing things by international law, to which they are supposed to be signed up to. They bypass the UN, who they are again signed up to, get on board two other stupid countries, the UK, and France, and on some very dodgy "evidence", decide to take action where they have NO right to be! I remember a few years ago, another American, this time a so-called "pastor", who very foolishly decided to burn the book of the muslims! And because of this, Christian missionaries were MURDERED! And, this guy, like Trump and both the Bushes, are allowed get away with thuggish acts! What they cannot get, is that every action has a reaction, like 9/11, which was one of the worst acts of barbaric murder in any country, and one would have expected the US to learn from this, but they keep on doing things to stoke the flames of hatred against them. Will they ever learn, I sadly doubt it!

Well, they're there on the ground which is more than you, I, Trump, May or Macron are.
