When will he make an announcement?

I found this on a page:
"Trump is also expected to wait until after the dust settles from the 2022 midterm elections, on Nov. 8, before jumping in, so he can either claim credit for big victories among House and Senate Republican candidates or avoid blame for a disappointing showing next Tuesday, the Republican said"

Well, Trump is a master of hunting for months to generate anticipation. I look for him to wait until early next year. That will give the Dems time to react to the election results, to see if they turn on Biden, and give some repubs time to decide and make announcements.

I say at least spring, maybe early summer.

I look for Liz Cheney to announce November 9, just so she can “save democracy” in America from Trump supporters.

peace to you

He cant wait too long - takes a lot of work to build a campaign.

As a Republican- or would she become a Dem?

Schedule for 2024 Primaries

First one is 22 Jan - a mere 443 days away
Chaney will remain a repub in primaries, get about 1% in the polls, then run as independent hoping to take votes from whoever the repubs nominate, giving the election to the Dems.

Trump has plenty of time to officially announce since his name recognition isn’t a problem. He will make appearances at all the expected stops without announcing to generate speculation and anticipation.

Once he announces, it stops all the free media that discusses whether he runs or not.

peace to you

I think what Austin means is that perhaps American has reached the point of no return. I guess in a few days we shall find out if God has had a belly full or not (Genesis 15:16) KJV.
Even if the country goes all red, our country is still dead. Politics are merely a symptom of the corruption that lies in our culture of humanism. The Republicans are merely another form of humanists.

While I agree with that your saying, I still hope for God to give our country more time. I am not looking forward to things 'hitting the fan.' God has been known to judge and chastise nations to get them back in line. Let us see what happens these next few years. Interesting times indeed.

...I wonder what's up with his latest name-calling, 'Ron Desanctimonious'?
I saw that. Very disappointing. He is firing a shot across the bow of the Governor of Florida. Desantuis is up by about 10 points with just a few days left. it won’t hurt him, but Trump is warning him not to enter the Presidential race.

I think it hurts Trump, makes him look like he’s against the Repubs winning big.

peace to you

Agree.

Sheesh, guess I was hoping those two would team up, be allies, maybe even Desantis be Trump's VP candidate.

Agree.
Only Putin could be Trump's ally.
Trump is a blight in the Republican Party and he should be kicked out for the betterment of the Party.

yeah, well, nobody ever said Trump couldn't be petty - he was mad at DeSantis when Rick endorsed and campaigned for that neverTrumper in Colorado. I still think the guy will probably lose to Bennett but I hope not.

Don't think it will do any damage, .and in Trump's defense, this ad rubbed me the wrong way as well:

sanctimonious indeed

Lol...

RNC's McDaniel: Committee Can’t Pay Trump’s Legal Bills If He Announces 2024 Run (breitbart.com)

"...Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that the RNC could not pay former President Donald Trump’s legal bills if he announces a run for the White House in 2024.

Anchor Dana Bash said, “I want to ask as your position is so important as the chair of the RNC, Donald Trump, he is already saying that he is going to run again. The RNC has paid more than $2.3 million to law firms representing him in his legal battles. If and when he does announce, will you stop paying his legal fees?”

McDaniel said, “We cannot pay legal bills for any candidate that’s announced. So these are bills that came from the Letitia James lawsuit that started while he was president,” McDaniel said. “It was voted on by our executive committee for our former president that this was a politically motivated investigation, and that’s what it’s been.”

Bash said, “So no more?”

She added, “But we cannot do in-kind contributions to any candidate right now. He’s the former president being attacked from every which way with lawsuits, and he’s certainly raised more under the RNC than we’ve spent on these bills.”..."
