Lindsey Graham Backs Trump in ‘Any Effort to Move Forward’ on RBG Vacancy
But I knew he would be. He's no political fool.
It's going to be either Amy or Babs, and either is a big improvement over RBG. The Democrats are even thinking of another fake impeachment, do it, do it, do it.....
The choice would make ultimate sense:
Could be the strong Roman Catholic Judge, who already has had hot sparring with Senators before, and Pelosi and Schumer also!I'm leaning Barbara Lagoa, actually, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
Trump's Supreme Court court pick likely to be Amy Coney Barrett or Barbara Lagoa: reports
Cuban heritage, and understands the evils of communism.
Yeah, Barbara Lagoa does seem to make good sense, although the 85-15 approval with so many on the Left going that way concerns me to question about the reasons why they would be so accepting and whether if it were more than just her ethnicity.

this same Senate voted her in 80-15! She should sail through - unless all those Dems who voted for her in December are hypocrites........."

That was actually a bit of intended humor that didn't come off well -- which essentially meant, "Of course, they are hypocrites."Because at least 37 Dems have already voted for her in the past, admitting she was perfectly qualified. Now they have to explain why they've suddenly changed their mind, and face political backlash for doing so.
I think Babylon Bee makes the point better than I.That was actually a bit of intended humor that didn't come off well -- which essentially meant, "Of course, they are hypocrites."
The best of both worlds:

I hear some people murmuring about Allison Jones Rushing, and concerned ACB is supporting the shutdown efforts a little too much.
Agree. ACB is not my favorite for several reasons.I'm seeing more concern now over Barrett, now. "Roberts clone" is being thrown around. Rushing is liked, but they believe too young. Lagoa is emerging as the favorite, and least in some circles. I believe Trump is meeting with her soon.
