And so, Revelation 20:15, And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.2) Who are the ones "perishing?" Those who understood and then rejected the gospel.

And so, Revelation 20:15, And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.2) Who are the ones "perishing?" Those who understood and then rejected the gospel.
This is typical Vanology. SeeOK, your verse seems to stand in opposition
to the dozens in the NT, which testify to the
fact that man who is not born again is just
NOT able to believe in Jesus and the Gospel.
How does one verse negate dozens of others?
C'mon!
Not only this, but the NT explains ...A lost person is unable to believe the Gospel, its hidden from them and is foolishness to them
Ok, C'mon, there are several NT verses that explain to us (hopefully successfully) that ...Ok, C'mon, there is not one verse that supports that the lost are unable to seek God and understand the gospel.
Pick one and post it. I will demonstrate it actually provides no support.
2Co 4:3 -4Ok, C'mon, there are several NT verses that explain to us (hopefully successfully) that ...
"the Gospel is foolishness to those who are perishing (going to hell)" (1 Cor. 1:18).
I'd be happy to send you an NT ...
just give me the address of your van in which you undoubtedly reside.
While it is true that every lost person is condemned, thus perishing, and every lost person's name has not be written in the Lamb's book of life, the contextual scope of 1 Corinthians 4:3-4 is limited to those who have rejected the gospel, thus it is foolishness to them. There are the ones who do not understand their current condemned status, facing eternal punishment, and therefore think they do not need a Savior. And so, Revelation 20:15, And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
They blinded by the god of this world, and the Gospel is hid to the lost. The word hid means:2Co 4:3 -4
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they will not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
1) How has the gospel message been veiled? There minds were blinded, thus initially able to understand. They were blinded (their hearts were hardened) so they could not see the light. Thus they were "Soil #1" types described in Matthew 13.
2) Who are the ones "perishing?" Those who understood and then rejected the gospel.
Does anyone see an answer to my questions?
Does anyone think errant views can be hid under a stream of insult?
Nowhere in the written word of God is there any promise to add anyone's name into the book. While it is true that every lost person is condemned, thus perishing, and every lost person's name has not be written in the Lamb's book of life, the contextual scope of 1 Corinthians 4:3-4 is limited to those who have rejected the gospel, thus it is foolishness to them. LOL, did anyone say the gospel was not "hid" from Soil #1 types? NopedThey blinded by the god of this world, and the Gospel is hid to the lost. The word hid means:
And you cant believe what you dont know. Also its in the perfect tense, a action completed in past with continuing results. So as long as one is in a lost condition the gospel is hid from them. And we are by nature born blinded by the god of this world, so naturally we have never been able to believe the Gospel
- to hinder the knowledge of a thing
It says the Gospel is hid to them that are lost, right here 2 Cor 4:3LOL, did anyone say the gospel was not "hid" from Soil #1 types? Noped
Pay no attention to this denial of the obvious. Scriptures some names had not been written in the Lamb's book of Life since the foundation of the world. It does not say names were written then erased. Therefore by logical necessity, names are written in the Lamb's book of life, when they are made alive together with Christ. To claim people belong to Christ, yet their names have not been written is nonsense.Nowhere in the written word of God is there any promise to add anyone's name into the book.
And it does not say it is hid from "all" the lost. Your doctrine is simply an unwarranted addition to scripture, making scripture to no effect. It says the Gospel is hid to them that are lost, right here 2 Cor 4:3
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: But you dot believe it.
Your understanding of this.Pay no attention to this denial of the obvious. Scriptures some names had not been written in the Lamb's book of Life since the foundation of the world. Sounds like you've got things backwards ...While it is true that every lost person is condemned, thus perishing, and every lost person's name has not be written in the Lamb's book of life, the contextual scope of 1 Corinthians 4:3-4 is limited to those who have rejected the gospel, thus it is foolishness to them. How would the gospel be foolishness if they had never heard it? Your doctrine gets a lot of things backwards. Thus when viewed from that lens, the correct sequence appears backwards.Sounds like you've got things backwards ...
thinking foolishness comes first, followed by rejecting the Gospel.
It's foolishness to them because they are simply
unable to break free from their hopeless spiritual condition, which is:
having a sin nature + being a captive (slave) of Satan.
Both of these foster enmity of God, disinterest in God, etc.
Ref: the NT
To understand WHO it is who sees the Gospel as "foolishness" ... and WHY ...And finally they claim the gospel is foolishness to them before they have heard it. I kid you not.
Sir, some of the lost are unable to understand the gospel, but "many" of the lost are able to understand and respond appropriately to the spiritual milk of the gospel. Changing to the subject to the meaning of "foolishness" will not alter that truth. To understand WHO it is who sees the Gospel as "foolishness" ... and WHY ...
I suggest that you read all the NT verses referring to this "foolishness".
In 2 Corinthians 11:1-3 Paul puts forth a rather graphic illustration
