Simple answer from you please. Is it alright occasionally that an innocent person be executed for a crime they did not commit, but were found guilty of committing. We know this has happened. Over 100 people have been released after being found guilty, given the death sentence and later proven innocent. And I did give a link showing we now know some innocents have been executed.

So, in your belief system, is it ok to have a system that occasionally executes an innocent person?

It is not my belief system, CBT, so don't get smart and try to lay down the terms of Christian debate. It is a Biblical belief system as dictated by God.

You are against Scripture, CBT, plain and simple.

Also, your little trick of trying to redefine the term "pro-life" is very tedious. Pro-life means anti-abortion, nothing more and nothing less and you yourself cannot redefine what any word means in English.

You have no Scripture, CBT. You are a Johnny-one-note who opposes The Holy Bible. You cannot even make a good case against the death penalty. A junior high debater could make a better case than you have.

Show me where God says it is all right to execute an innocent person wrongly convicted.

I am arguing for the innocent in our system, not the guilty. So again, show me where God says it is ok to kill the innocent.

Good or bad at least I have tried. You totally refuse to talk about the innocent. What about them?

First he says it's more Christ-like to ensure the guilty or the innocent are miserable and suffering for the rest of their lives; then this. How can you call anyone else "pro-death" when you won't stand 100% against abortion? Can you admit that by not 100% opposing abortion, you yourself are "pro-death"?

Misrepresentation again. I have said it means there is the possibility that the innocent may be found innocent and released at some point in the future.

How can you condemn someone for supporting the death penalty for those tried and found guilty, when you yourself support the death penalty for those that can't defend themselves?

Because in our system there are innocent who are on death row. Why do you care nothing about their lives?

Has he ever answered whether he supports the death penalty for those that are proven guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt, who admit their guilt? Or would he rather show some quality of Christ that isn't found in scripture and ensure they suffer for the rest of their lives?

I have said, devise a system whereby it is absolutely assured that no innocent person will be executed and I will reconsider my position and most probably support it.

Now, I continue to answer you questions. Please answer mine.

What is your feeling about the innocent on death row? Is it all right to go ahead killing people knowing some will be innocent? Why such blood lust?

I argue to follow scripture. You have not put up a rational, or Biblical reason to be against the death penalty. I went through your links, and researched them, and responded to each one, and you still claim I don't answer your questions. And you continue your irrational line of thinking, asking why I don't let the actions of man change the word of God.

And do everyone a favor, and don't bring personal "pro-life/pro-death" into it. Keep this respectful.

Kindle show me scripture where it is all right to execute innocent prisoners. You claim to be pro-life, but only for the unborn or so it seems. You refuse to speak about the innocent.

Why not shake the dust off your robes and quit dealing with these ungodly arguments tainted by progressive double speak and arrogance? Literally you are casting your pearls....

Misrepresentation again. I have said it means there is the possibility that the innocent may be found innocent and released at some point in the future.

Not a misrepresentation, because you believe that all of them may be found innocent. You've never addressed the ones that plead guilty, accept their punishment, and refuse appeals on their behalf.

Because in our system there are innocent who are on death row. Why do you care nothing about their lives?

I have said, devise a system whereby it is absolutely assured that no innocent person will be executed and I will reconsider my position and most probably support it.

Fallacy. To the point of farce. You've set up a false premise.

Consider: No human-derived system is 100% infallible. Therefore, mistakes will always be made. Unless you want to convince us that there's some human somewhere who has never made and never will make a mistake.

Thus, you will never support the death penalty.

But the problem with your false premise is the exact opposite: Devise a system whereby it is absolutely assured that no innocent person will be found guilty. Devise a system whereby it is absolutely assured that no innocent person who is mistakenly found guilty will suffer in prison for years until such a time as their innocence is proven.

Take it further: Since inflicting misery and suffering on our enemies is distinctly a non-Christian attitude, devise a system whereby those sentenced to prison will never suffer.

Or, alternatively, devise a system whereby there will never be a risk that the guilty will have the opportunity to harm other prisoners; or upon escape, harm innocent citizens.

Your biggest error, CTB, is your continued economic error: You make decisions based on favoring the one or two rather than the economic whole.

Is it terrible that innocent people have been executed? Of course it is. But how did they get convicted? By the workings of the legal system: lawyers, judges, and juries. Why do we have these laws? Is it to protect society, or to exact vengeance or even revenge?

Maybe you shouldn't be arguing against the death penalty; maybe you should be showing why the legal system is wrong for implementing a death penalty.

"If you don't kill me, I will do this again."- David Maust.

David Maust, at 51, after receiving his third prison sentence, in his life, for murdering teen boys which he had raped, had to hang himself with bedsheets in our County Jail, to give us justice.

His last crime was to rape, muder, and bury in cement in his house, the bodies of 3 teen boys in my neighborhood.

His house was on my paper route, on the 4900 block of Ash Ave, in Hammond Indiana. He murdered my neighbors. Had he gotten an opportunity, I am sure that he would have targeted me.

David Maust asked for the death penalty, swearing that he was incurable, and would only do it again, if he was allowed to live.

David Maust, the possessed serial killer, had more sense than our sick society has, and that is telling.

Those are two of your charges, CBT.

God never called for the execution of the innocent and I have said that before, CBT, but you have ignored that. Your suggestion that God would have said that is sickening.

You yourself, CBT, have only your personal opinion and no Scripture whatsoever. Sag38 is correct that it is time to move on from your progressive double speak.

We have stated, several times, that God didn't tell us to execute the innocent.

You have not shown any innocent that have been executed. So your argument is irrational. You have completely failed, repeating the same ANSWERED question over & over, pretending it gives your argument weight.

Why don't you try an honest, rational discussion sometime ?

God said it. Crabtownboy said it ain't so.
God wins.
