Luke 24:21, But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
A Sunday third day resurrection.
A whole Saturday-Sunday night.
A full Saturday second day.
A whole Friday-Saturday night.
A full Friday first day.
An after Sun set Thursday evening to Friday night.
That is my understanding as well..
The resurrection is on the third day.
Luke 24:21, But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
Can be. Nevertheless the word of God teaches Christ was raised on the third day. It's ok for you to believe that, just as it's ok for someone believe Wed. or Fri.
Please explain the two.You have two systems of counting days (did they side with the Jews in Galilee or the Sadduccees)? Or were they describing both (what they would have observed)?
God is omnipresent.. . . save us from eternal separation . . . .
The difference is calculating a day from sunset to sunset vs Temple service calculation from sunrise to sunrise (dawn to dawn). Please explain the two.
