Except that there is a period of time where Jesus rules here on earth, as all earth worships Him, and then turned over to God the father in the Eternal State!

2nd peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

John 5:28
Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

Insert the place of the 1000 years in these two verses.

I believe OT prophecies concerning Israel in the OT are fulfilled by the Church (the remnant of Israel) in the NT, and Jesus is On the throne now ruling like he said he was going to. He came the first time to set up the kingdom, it was not conditional, he did as he was going to do. Israel's rejection did not postpone the the kingdom, it expanded it through the gentiles.

By definition what am I?

And please don't say wrong :Roflmao
You are not a dispensationalist, of course, but this is not enough information to tell if you are Covenant Theology or New Covenant Theology.

Jesus is not ruling at this time.

He is sitting at the Father’s side while the Father “makes enemies His footstool.” (Luke 20:43, Hebrews 1, Psalm 110, Acts 2)

now...if you could find one verse that mentions a literal 1000yrs on earth...

Why would there be a rejection of this passage. The context and particulars do not allow it to be other then a future millennium.

1And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.

4I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. Theya had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

Hello Aged man

6x 1000yrs is mentioned....John sees these souls of these beheaded persons.....where does it say these beheaded persons were on the earth in this passage? The case is made that this is a heavenly reign...not an earthly one.

Venema?

How about some Baptists:

Hanserd Knollys, The World that Now Is and the World that Is to Come:

"This is the first Resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first Resurrection. They shall reign with Christ a thousand years, and that on Earth....After the Saints are raised, and have lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years, shall be the general Resurrection, Rev. 20. 12, 13."

Benjamin Keach's catechism:

"Question: How then shall it go with the saints?
Answer: Oh very well! it is the Day that they have long'd for: then they shall hear that Sentence, Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you: And so shall they reign with Christ on the Earth a thousand Years"

Who rules in heaven?

At what place did God ever extend authority to rule in heaven.

He gives no such authority even to the Son! But says to the Son, “sit here beside me UNTIL I make ...”

The last chapters of the revelation give a quick glimpse of the new heaven and earth, and there is only one ruler.

There is only one time the prophecy of the ruling messiah in which believers rule WITH Him is that future millennium.

At no other time in history can such a time be found in which believers literally rule and judge even the angels other than that millennium.

But, I do not expect to change minds, but to show the truth that Scriptures do not fail.

Apparently your struggle is taking what Scripture I posted (#126) as something other then future. Therefore, your understanding is limited by the bias

Apparently your struggle was answering my question

Im asking where you get out of that verse that Jesus is on earth sitting on a throne in jerusalem?

At the ascension;
Dan7
13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

And these Scriptures fit more perfectly the millennium then attempting to have saints and Christ usurping the rule of either the current heaven or the new neaten and earth.

Rev 2
26To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations— 27that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’bjust as I have received authority from my Father. 28I will also give that one the morning star. 29Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Sounds like he already received the "rule" to me.

18 And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth. Mt 28

And that truth gives us wonderful assurance & confidence in our risen & reigning LORD, God & Saviour - a confidence dispensationalism steals from its adherents.

THey are waiting, waiting, waiting, for what is promised the LORD's redeemed people in the present Gospel age.
