It is pretty bad when even some moderators around here do not seem to respect the decision of the higher ups.

There is a big difference in agreeing with a decision and accepting the decision. How do you propose that we respect a decision with which we disagree? Would you not want us to go to bat for you if we felt that you were banned wrongfully?

I would expect you to share your disagreement in private with the other mods or administrators and keep quiet about it on the open board. The way you have handled yourself on this thread is very un-moderator like IMO.

Also, how do you post on here and yet it shows you offline?

I have in no way belittled my fellow moderators on the public forum. You have no idea which moderators I disagree with because I have not made it a personal issue, nor would I. As I said, I will ultimately accept any decision. It there ever comes a time when I cannot, I will simply walk away.

I'm sorry that you feel that moderators cannot be passionate about issues discussed here. One of my duties as a moderator is to protect each member as long as that member remains within the framework of the posting rules and User Agreement. The member in question was not properly protected from personal attacks and misrepresentation. As a moderator, I failed him in this area. I am simply trying to correct that error.

The Baptist Board is in no way like a church. This is nothing more that a pastime. It is a hobby. Church is real life. Real lives are affected at church. The worse thing that can happen here is that I have to find another pastime.
