As agedman said, this has been a good thread. I thank all who have participated. Everyone has had a great attitude and kept it civil. I have been able to present enough of modern dispensationalism that I hope its opponents on the BB will speak from understanding now if they must criticize, and not ignorance.

Thanks and God bless! :)

Psalm 2, talking about King here on earth
Yes...good passage...quoted by the Apostles in Acts 4 explaining how the Kingdom has begun;
24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:

25 Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?

26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

Why do you think this passage was introduced here?

Well then show where he's ruling from Jerusalem on davids throne. I missed that part.
You are completely missing the point of why I highlighted that word. Read the verse again and notice the red word.

I think you will find the word clearly implies a future kingdom "of this world" that at the time Jesus was speaking "NOW...is not", meaning in the future will be.

Um no, I don't see how the word now implies a future kingdom on this earth.

Let me ask, Who is in the millennium? Souls? Physical Bodies? Or resurrected bodies?
Does death happen during it?

But Christ clearly rejected the earthly kingdom at that time, and did not take the throne of David, which is a physical manifestation, not a spiritual one. You are suggesting without proof that the throne of David is internal and spiritual, and not an actual kingdom. That's not how Christ viewed it. He did not correct the disciples's view that there was a physical kingdom coming. And I'm sure David would have been surprised to learn that he did not have a physical throne. :Cautious

Acts 1:6 "When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power."

He didn't confirm it either. After Pentecost they no longer mentioned that.
