I think some people can justify hating because their concept of God is one who hates. If God can hate, so then can man.
But with Calvinism, if you are one of the lucky ones created for election, the good news is you are going to heaven no matter how much you hate. By contrast though, if you are one of those whom God created to take pleasure in destroying, you are going to be eternal pulpwood, no matter how much you reject hate and instead love.
It can be difficult to differentiate the God of Calvinism with the God of Islam. For both act with pure will and contra-Logos.
You are really mixed up. God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked, nor do Christians. Neither do they hate. That is the province of satan's armies. Satan hates Christians, as does the Romanist "church." They hated the French Christians and murdered the pastors, sent those attending services to the galleys for life, if they were men and incarcerating women for life in dungeons such as the Tower of Constance in the city of Aigue Mortes (Bitter Deaths?)
Did you ever reply to my question "Do you take the name "Walpole" from Michael Walpole?
