Hyper-Calvinism among Presbyterians and the Reformed denominations? Nada,not an iota. It is a unique Baptist thingie especially among the Gospel Standard folks in the UK. (Whom I appreciate,by the way.)

Really.....why dont you think so!

I appreciate their beer.

I married a Presbyterian (she's now IFB of course). She grew up with the Westminster Confession of Faith. When I quoted (on another thread) from that Confession it was not "Calvinistic enough" for his own belief system. :rolleyes: Uniquely Baptist? Perhaps.

Ive studied both 1689 & Westminister....almost identical except on baptism. That is my wifes primary sticking point & she was raised Old School Dutch Reformed. Those folks are rare these days.

Yes,it's uniquely Baptistic.
