Then you are willfully in defiance to God's command. So keeping the Sabbath really isn't a serious thing for your church. It's more of a show for others to have them think you are doing something special.

Wow, people will use anything to justify not keeping the Creator's sabbath. Wow

Lol. You claim you keep the Sabbath and then you admit you don't do what God orders you to do if one of your followers disobey.

Yes, God must adopt us into His family and make His family more important than our earthly family.

"If you want to be my disciple, you must, by comparison, hate everyone else - your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters - yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple." ~ Luke 14:26

Ok you claim you keep the Sabbath...

I asked you what happens if you don't...

    You say see Numbers 15...

I ask you how many you have had to stone to death...

You say, oh we don"t actually do what God says to do...

Now tell me again how important it is that one keeps God Sabbath commandments?

Num 15:30 ‘But the being who does whatever defiantly, whether he is native or a stranger, he reviles יהוה, and that being shall be cut off from among his people.
Num 15:31 ‘Because he has despised the word of יהוה, and has broken His command, that being shall certainly be cut off, his crookedness is upon him.’ ”

    This is repeated here:

Heb 10:26 For if we sin purposely after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a slaughter offering for sins,1 Footnote: 1See also 6:6, Heb. 9:7, Num. 15:15-28.
Heb 10:27 but some fearsome anticipation of judgment, and a fierce fire which is about to consume the opponents.
Heb 10:28 Anyone who has disregarded the Torah of Mosheh dies without compassion on the witness of two or three witnesses.
Heb 10:29 How much worse punishment do you think shall he deserve who has trampled the Son of Elohim underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was set apart as common, and insulted the Spirit of favour?
Heb 10:30 For we know Him who has said, “Vengeance is Mine, I shall repay, says יהוה.” And again, “יהוה shall judge His people.”

You see how it is YHVH that judges? When He gives a command it shall be carried out.

Ok, so why are you not carrying out His command to stone those who disobey? God doesn't stone them, He tells you to stone them.

Actually it says "whether he is native or a stranger". So your congregation should be carrying out quite a few stonings.

Simple.....it's a convenient religion. Plus the adherents generally honor it as a religion of their family and ancestors.

That was a singular judgment for one. Usually in scripture the first person is the example so that all fear and obey. Secondly, his people are in exile today and not in the land under His kingship. Thus we cannot perform capital punishment in this land ourselves because the court system does that. These courts are based upon scriptural principles, but that is changing bit by bit.

Now cutting them off can be performed by not allowing those into the congregation.

Co 5:11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone called ‘a brother,’ if he is one who whores, or greedy of gain, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler – not even to eat with such a one.
1Co 5:12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are inside?
1Co 5:13 But Elohim judges those who are outside. And put away the wicked one from among you!

I asked you what happens if you do not keep the Sabbath and you directed me to Numbers 15. Now you say it does not apply???

Frankly, I never had a problem with Catholics. I've known plenty who were Godly and plenty who were not. Rather like us Southern Baptists in that regard. I grew up listening to old fellows rant about Catholics being members of a cult and thought that was all nonsense. I still do.

Meanwhile, I'll point out a couple of things. First of all, none of us Protestants would be around to defend/complain about Catholics had that Church not defended the faith for centuries (we are talking about a denomination that can trace its lineage back to St. Peter, after all). Second, I'm 48-years-old and have seen protestant churches split over everything from homosexuality to whether women should be allowed to join the ministry. I admire Catholics for toughing it out through the centuries in spite of disputes here and there.

Well, do you admire them for telling people they can reject Jesus Christ and still be saved through love? We are not talking about how godly or nice people are in any religion, I'm sure their are many loving people in Islam, but that will not save them.

So you really think they killed this one and then all the rest obeyed and they did not kill any others? Really?

What do you mean his people? Are you now saying this is only for the Jews?

Are you saying if this country allowed you to carry out your religion as you see fit you would be stoning all these people to death who did not keep the Sabbath? And how would you determine just who is keeping it correctly and who is not? Like the Jews whom wanted to stone Jesus for breaking the Sabbath?

Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying. As we all know, accepting Jesus as our lord and savior just isn't important at all. That's what Catholics teach, right? Come on...

What you appear to be doing is grabbing something outside RCC doctrine and applying it to the Church as a whole.

    What is the hold?

Brainwashing from the cradle--causing strong delusion believing a lie.

Also, there are those who know their religion is wrong, yet they will not repent and turn because of the conflict, turmoil and excommunication which will result in their family and social contacts. Lastly, it is a religion which suits many peoples lifestyles--yep, convenient. Human nature loves the flesh.

The Lord does call some out. They make very vociferous converts.

The cult of Nimrod is still alive and well on planet Earth.

    Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

His people = those who join themselves into covenant with Him.

If torah was this country's rule of law, then a judicial court would rule on whether the law was broken or not and what the punishment would be. We are not to judge individually, nor enact the punishment individually.

Deu 17:6 “At the mouth of two or three witnesses shall he that is to die be put to death. He is not put to death by the mouth of one witness.
Deu_19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

I am an ex-Catholic...born, raised, educated (12 years of Catholic schools). By the time I graduated from high school I was, for all practical purposes, an atheist. I went back after I had my children, wanting to give them SOME sort of religious upbringing and that was all I knew.

THEN...I really READ the bible. A friend who was not Catholic gave me a bible (Mom's devotional NIV). All the things I believed to be "biblical" really weren't. I knew then I had to leave...
