McClaren and Bell are heretics of the highest order. Perhaps I missed something along the way.

A review of the gospel message.

    Repentance is a gift.

    Acts 5:31English Standard Version (ESV)

31 God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

    Acts 11:18English Standard Version (ESV)

18 When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life.”

2 Timothy 2:25English Standard Version (ESV)

25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth,

No, it's not. Go back to

    Ephesians 2:8-10English Standard Version (ESV)

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

I don't know how it could be any clearer. Salvation is a GIFT. It's not of our doing. We don't have to do anything because that would be a work.

Indeed there are. And you are a prime example. You are quite simply wrong. We've provided scripture to enlighten you. But instead, you change what we have said and make statements about us that are not true. My favorite accusation was that we take delight in the death of sinners. Now I could be wrong or I may have missed an explanation by you, but I don't think so.

Salvation is of the Lord completely. Are you determined to take some of the glory from God onto yourself?

Just for everyone's information, Saved-By-Grace is on a vacation because of his little temper tantrum. He will be back the evening of the 29th.
