It is too soon to know the damage. In the intelligence business we may well never know the damage done. One thing for sure as lone as Trump is in office our allies will think carefully over whether they will share intelligence with us as they know it is not safe from exposure by Trump. That type of damage can never be known.

It was a very stupid or insidious thing that Trump did. Yes, he may legally be able to do what he did. But being legal does not mean it was not stupid.

Tax reform is a process as you seemingly are aware of.

IF you want to know the specific daily discussions, of what is being considered, being checked for legalities....
You would need to be a Representative, who is then a member of the Ways and Means committee or a Lawyer who is being asked for legal advise pertaining to the efforts to write a Bill, that can be considered to be enacted as a Law.

Or, YOU can keep yourself informed by seeking what the Ways and Committed is doing during their scheduled hearings.
