I shall buy a sanger at work....a nice salady one for $2.50 which is good value for a body who lives alone....buying salad is not economical I find as I waste so much.

a new eggplant casserole which I'll add some ground beef to for protein, and some fresh corn on the cob I got this afternoon from the local amish store.

Stuffed cabbage (actually the stuffing for bierocks), broccoli & cauliflower medley, corn on the cob, cornbread, sliced cucumbers, and red velvet cake.

The cabbage, onions, corn, and cukes came out of our garden. My wife is going to fix some squash and okra tomorrow and I can't hardly wait. :D I just wish her and her mom hadn't canned all the blackberries we picked this morning... I really want a blackberry cobbler. At least they are making some jelly from some of them tomorrow, too.

Ours was store-bought (won it in a drawing at VBS). Instead of coconut ours has white chocolate shavings on top of it as well just cream cheese icing. Sinfully rich, but oh so good.

Almost forgot... Sloppy joes, squash casserole, fried okra, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers

Hot dogs, baked beans, sour cream and onion chips, and banana bread for dessert.

I guess today is NOT our day to worry about low fat or healthy in any way! :tonofbricks:

My Wife's Ex and his girlfriend are in town for our Son's wedding on Saturday, so I'm making dinner for everybody tonight:
Herbed Turkey Breasts, Cornbread Confetti Salad, Squash Stuffing Casserole, and Lemon Sheet Cake for dessert.

Cooking for the crowd again tonight. Never heard a complaint about what I made last night, so my Wife asked me to cook for everybody again:
New Orleans Chicken, Glorified Hash Browns, Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos, Corn Fritters with Carmelized Onion Jam, Warm Asparagus-Spinach Salad, and Chocolate-Oatmeal Cake for dessert.
