Tonight was a new recipe - citrus mustard chicken thighs. It was yummy but I should have served it with rice. Instead, we had it with potato and blue cheese salad and fresh garden tomatoes.

A simple cabbage dish that is a staple in this are.

    Grated cabbage (1 head)
    Vinegar (few glugs)
    Salt to taste
    Olive oil (few glugs)
    Meat (chicken, pork or meatballs)---optional

Cover with water and let it cook down on medium.

    Absolutely delicious!!!

I was informed that we will have between 5 and 10 teen girls show up this evening, and yes they will be here for dinner...........so it will be take out pizza. They can also have the not so pretty pieces of chocolate caramel matzo that I made for potluck tomorrow. Out daughter also had her father pick up a large package of bacon to go with this, so I am not sure what is going on.
