I think people need to start quoting Joel Osteen.

Every day we have plenty of opportunities to get angry, stressed or offended. But what you're doing when you indulge these negative emotions is giving something outside yourself power over your happiness. You can choose to not let little things upset you.

LOL.....have fun with that kid, what a blessing!!!! Thats the important stuff.Illness and fatigue.
Sick and tired of being a considered a racist because my ancestors never own slaves, an uncaring consumer of the earth because of my carbon footprint and possibly unsaved because I am more inclined to quote Wesley than MacArthur.
In the downtime I've been restoring some antique furniture, did a period correct restoration of the dining room and laid in the backyard with the 6 year old counting stars.
The neighborhood on BB has changed considerably and I'm not quite sure I like the changes.

BTW ...... Have a Beer!!!
He ain't old enough to drink beer and I'm not responsible enough.
"Let a man walk ten miles steadily on a hot summer's day along a dusty English road, and he will soon discover why beer was invented." ~ G. K. Chesterton
OldRegular, J.D., Luke2427, tyndale, asterisktom, Old Union Brother, pinoybaptist to name a few that I wonder about often.
Tom, good to hear from you.Hello, Kyredneck - and Hank and all the rest. I cannot speak for others, but my main reason has been that it just seemed repetitive. From my perspective, it just felt like playing Whack-a-mole. I got tired of repeating the same thing again and again. But I shouldn't be that way.
Another reason was the distraction of being here in China. Things are changing in a big way. How shall I say this? Things are getting prickly. I am the only one among the foreign teachers in the hall who has not been hauled to the police for some infraction, real or imagined.
But I do intend to post more here. Of course, the last time I wrote that my Internet connection went Pffft! for a long time.

Hello, Kyredneck
Hi Tom, as a fellow resident of China I readily identify with a lot of the above.Hello, Kyredneck - and Hank and all the rest. I cannot speak for others, but my main reason has been that it just seemed repetitive. From my perspective, it just felt like playing Whack-a-mole. I got tired of repeating the same thing again and again. But I shouldn't be that way.
