JOJ,

Disregard the PM, I see where I made a mistake in the school; not in the "thinking" part>

I arived at TTU in 1976, and it took 6 years to get my B.A. in Bible even though I already had an A.A. degree in Fine Arts. Still want to get a Master's but hard to find time between pastoring two mission churches, teaching in a Bible Institute, and building a church building on the mission field. </font>[/QUOTE]I also started at TTU in 1976 - graduated in 1980, went to TBTS till 1983, and finished my Masters a couple of years later (2002) at the European Theological Seminary. .

I'm happy to hear that you are considering Lone Star Baptist College. It is a home like none other I have ever known. It is getting harder and harder to find a good school to attend.

I whole heartedly recommend this school. I've been to other schools and churches. None compare to the "old-time religion" of Parkside Baptist church.

The pastor, Dr. Larry M.May, is a Hyles-Anderson College graduate. There are several graduates who attend and teach in the church. My wife is one of them. I attended Hyles-Anderson for about 1 1/2 years. I finished my education at Lone Star and grdauated with my BS in Pastoral Theology.

Parkside is my home church. In fact, Preacher was the one who lead me to the Lord. I was led to the Lord by our Pastor who is now celebrating his 22nd Anniversary as Pastor.

My wife and I are currently teaching the Senior Saints' Sunday School class and working around the church to help gain more working knowledge before we head off to the missionfield. (Waiting for God's perfect timing)

Hope to see you some time in the next few years. And as I tell my kids, "How do you know you don't like it? You haven't eaten any of it yet."
