The crux of the issue is: Did God CAUSE Adam to sin? Or did God KNOW that Adam would sin?

Actually that is not the crux of the issue we are discussing. But no, God did not cause Adam to sin. God is not the author of evil. God also knows everything. But that doesn't bolster your position.

I haven't taken a position. But don't let that stop you from assigning me one.

So, if God didn't cause Adam to sin, the alternative is that he knew about it.
