That would be correct - as Roger Williams - who was an Anglican priest, also believed in Believers baptism - left Masss and went to Rhode Island to start a Baptist church. -- churches in Mass became Congregational.

Yes, and was credited for the founding of a Baptist church. Which he later abandoned.Williams was a Puritan.
